What a relaxing, pleasant, wonderful experience I had at the Zen today! Although they are a newer business, I’m still surprised I’m the first to review them, which I will happily do.
After getting a manicure at the nail salon next door, I decided to try Zen’s «Package D,» which included a 30 minute table massage and a 20 minute foot massage. After the face down portion of the table massage, the face up included a pleasing lavender temple/​forehead massage. Ahhhhh!
The foot massage started with a brief foot soak, followed by 20 minutes of a make you fall asleep in the plush chair with a lavender eye mask on bliss. Both of the masseurs were very professional and respectful.
Don’t shy away just because they’re located in the mall– you will miss out! The dim lighting, serene décor and zen music make you feel like you’re in a regular spa. They did not ask if I had any injured/​troubled areas, but I won’t take a star away for that. If you prefer less pressure on your massage, let them know before you start.
Unlike a regular salon, however, their prices are completely reasonable. My 50+ minutes of bliss only set me back $ 58. Many packages or a la carte services to choose from!
