Filthy. My wife and I have enjoyed many Applebee’s restaurants around the country and always been pleased. We just finished dinner at the Anderson IN Applebee’s and it was very sub par. The service was ok, the steaks were not good at all, one was inedible. The booth we were seated in was filthy, the seats were stained and extremely dirty, the sun shades looked like they had vomit on them, afraid to imagine what the kitchen is like. When we showed the manager and waitress the mgr. just said«thanks for bringing it to our attention». No apologies for the food or the filth. Never again will I trust this Applebee’s.

We got take-out, which was ordered online, for dinner tonight. The boneless buffalo wings were cold, but still fairly tasty and our entrees were decent. The sirloin was ordered medium, which it appeared to be, but was kind of mealy in texture. I’m not sure what happened to it. The thing that ruined the meal were the 2 Caesar side salads. We paid $ 8 extra for old nasty romaine lettuce that got thrown directly in the trash. Word to the wise… Skip the salad on take-out. At least if you’re dining in you can send it back easily.

This Applebee’s has proven wrong the generally accepted belief that ‘chain restaurants’ only offer average fare and mediocre service. My wife and I have made the Anderson Applebee’s our ‘no brainer’ for a great, reasonably priced dinner on her«I don’t feel like cooking» nights. She always orders the broiled salmon w/artichoke which she always raves about and my ‘regular’ is the broiled steak with shrimp and cheese sauce. High-dollar steak house quality w/o the high price! We had dinner there last night and we had the pleasure of being served by Shannon, an effervescent young lady who treated us like old friends from the moment we were seated. She provided us with the usual super service we expect from this Applebee’s and rated an email of praise to the boss! The quality of food and service at this Applebee’s makes it obvious that only the ‘best of the best’ are selected to join this location’s first-class food service team.

Food took like forever. Siracha shrimp appetzier was ok but not great. Very little spice taste, so only tasted the grease. Rest of food took forever and wasn’t good. New shrimp salad was meager and shrimp looked half raw. Riblets were fatty and sauce was not what ordered. French fries at least were hot. We ll NOT try an Applebee’s again, and especially not when traveling. Only bright note was our check was Comped by Mgt Cuz waiter forgot us!

Been coming here for a while now and I have never been disappointed by the service, staff, or food. Great management. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone for any occasion.

I stopped for a snack before I headed into Indianapolis. It an Applebee’s so you generally know what to expect, but the thing that really blew me away was the customer service. I was greeted quickly by the hostess and seated at a table in the bar area. I just ended up having an appetizer and a drink. The waitress, Crystal, was extremely kind and attentive! This is a great place to stop along the I-69 corridor!

We were traveling home and decided to stop for lunch at this Applebees. Big mistake. The greeter was friendly and the manager sat us right away, telling us that, «if there was anything we needed just to let him know.» The waitress came by after about 5 minutes and took our drink order. She brought our drinks and since we were still deciding on what to order she said she’d be back. That was the last we saw of her. Another waitress taking care of another section was taking orders from people who were seated after we were. We kept looking around for either our waitress or the manager and neither could be found. After 15 minutes, we got up and left. We couldn’t believe that she would just leave us there and not return to take our order. Went to the Olive Garden on Scatterfield Rd. and had terrific wait service and good food. We will never return to this Applebee’s again, ever.

Good ol’ Applebee’s. The food is always great, and the servers are usually pretty awesome. I have been going to the Anderson location since I was a child, and it has always been great. Some of the newer menu items are not that great, such as the sizzlers. For one they stay extremely hot for too long to get to enjoy them, and then they are bland! Stick to the ribs and burgers. The fried green beans are very good too. I will always go back!

Food was great, served pretty quickly. Was disappointed to be sat at a dirty table which is where the 5 star disappeared. Great place to eat, has yet to disappoint me.

Before you judge me, I didn’t choose to go here. I’ve never cared for Applebee’s. If I’m going to eat at one of the casual dining chains, I’d pick Chili’s, Houlihans or O’Charley’s any day of the week. But this location was especially bad for me. It took us about five minutes to get seated when most of the restaurant was empty. I’m sure our waitress was a wonderful gal, but she sure didn’t show it that night. She rarely came to our table, or any table in our kitschy dining area. She was kind of unpleasant. Wish I remembered her name For appetizers, our cheese sticks were cold and undercooked. How can you mess up fried cheese sticks? Seriously?! BBQ boneless wings were good, about on par with Wendy’s. But more expensive. I had a bland, unimaginative steak for my entrée. I ordered medium-rare and it came about well-done. I would’ve sent it back had I seen our waitress. Plus the replacement probably would’ve been bloody and tasteless, instead of dry and tasteless. Nobody else at my table enjoyed their meals, except for the girl who wanted to go here. She really love those skillet sizzler things… We still left our bitter waitress an 18% tip, just out of common decency. But then I wrote on the check«You were a terrible waitress and didn’t deserve this tip. Enjoy!». I really showed her! The sad thing is Applebee’s has really improved in the last few years, but its still bad. There’s a Ruby Tuesdays down the street. Do yourself a favor.
