The perfect example of how a store should be run. I came in with a 1970’s super 8 video camera that had no batteries. As soon as I entered the store, the clerk greeted me and asked how he could help. I showed him my camera and the only battery slot I could find. But it turned out to be empty, which would make the clerk’s job harder. Without any complaint, the clerk worked around it. When we found that the battery we needed, he recommended the batteries he buys for himself, and when my battery choice didn’t line up with his recommendation, he treated it with impartiality, as if I had chosen his suggestion. Excellent service! If only supermarkets were like this.
