Good food, good service. We have eaten at «Crazy Ass» several times and have never been disappointed. Tamales are my favorite.

I rarely give five stars to a Mexican restaurant. However, I couldn’t come up with a reason to give Burro Loco four stars. You start with fresh chips and salsa. I like hot fresh chips and that is what was brought out to me. The star was the Salsa. It had flavor and was spiced correctly. It was a bit on the chunky side but that is how I personally like it. The entrée was a shrimp dish cooked in a green tomatillo sauce. The sides were the typical beans and rice. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The green tomatillo sauce was outstanding. The sauce has a kick and was spicy, but I really enjoy hot and spicy and this met my expectations. I though the beans and rice were prepared correctly and they tasted better than the standard beans and rice at most Mexican places. I was greeted quickly and was seated immediately. Chips and salsa was there within a minute. Overall the service was excellent. The place is clean and you can tell the owners and workers take pride in providing you an outstanding experience. I stop here before going to Mounds state park. If I am ever back in Anderson, I will definitely be back. If you are bored of chain restaurants and think for yourself and are not manipulated by millions of dollars in TV commercials to make yourself believe you have to eat average to below average overpriced food at some chain restaurant, I am one of you. Let’s all keep supporting the true food scene in Indiana.
