De Ja’ Vu Salon

Best salon I have ever been to! My hairdresser, Mara Tupper, is so friendly, upbeat, professional, and pays attention to exactly what I’d like and takes her time with every detail. The staff is all friendly and welcoming! I feel so comfortable there and you can tell the entire staff loves their job and take pride in their one of a kind salon! The owner is present and so friendly and down to earth and you can tell how much everyone that works there loves him! The décor is original and artistic and comfortable. And did I mention Mara? She is the best at any cuts, any age, any style and amazing at custom colors! Men, women and children will leave confident and they’re own kind of beautiful! Love this place; and I’ve always hated salons!

I walked in last Saturday, after driving around looking for a walk-​in salon unsuccessfully. Just wanted a trim and figured anyone could do it. Desmond, the owner, greeted me courteously, and fit me in after his current client.
I wear my hair a little alternatively, and have a hard time finding a stylist that can cut my «sweetheart» bangs properly. Well, Desmond had no problem with that! He even had pictures of variations of the cut to offer me choices between! That was a first!
He gave me exactly the trim/​shape/​bang cut I asked for, and offered suggestions for playing up my style and being more adventurous. Which I am certainly going to take him up on!
Desmond was just super professional, and wonderfully friendly and fun to chat with as he worked. I’m grateful to find someone that can do «out-​of-​the-​ordinary» hair (hehehehe, he even said he refuses to do «Mommy» hair…) I’m even bringing my boyfriend in to get his beard under control (Desmond said he has a specialty in this).
I walked out with a beautifully cut do, a big smile on my face, and only $ 35 bucks lighter. The salon was bright and spacious, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed seeing the camaraderie he shared with his employee on staff. Good people, doing good work! Thanks Desmond!
