Hampton Inn

Excellent newer Hampton Inn property on I-​85. Friendly staff, clean, modern, and standard breakfast.

I only stay at Hilton chains and this Hampton Inn is very nice. It is great inside and the rooms look brand new. I will drive a little out of Greenville anytime to stay here for such a cheap price. This place is great and the staff has been more than helpful.

We try to only stay at Hampton Inns so we’ve seen a wide variety of them. I’d have to say this one ranks towards the top.
We reserved a room via Unilocal and had no issues checking in. The room was large, clean, and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was the most stylish one I’ve seen.
The only very minor things wrong were the mini fridge had no temperature knob (it looks like it was just ripped out) and wasn’t set cold at all (there was dripping water in the freezer) so we couldn’t use it. I probably could have complained but it wasn’t that big of a deal for our one-​night stay. The other was at breakfast – they had bread, bagels, and English muffins… but no toaster. Odd.
But overall, still a great stay. Hubby wished we had more time because he said the gym looked like the best one he’s seen. Id have preferred the pool was inside since the kids love a pool… but we didn’t have time this trip so not a deal-​breaker (if it was, we’d have picked a different hotel).

Great value, especially for the priceline deal I got. Very clean, nice staff and a good breakfast.

Very nice Hampton Inn — I was very pleased considering the low price! I would certainly stay at this Hampton vs. the other Hampton’s in the area as this one is the «new design» and it is very clean.
Reason for the ⁴⁄₅ stars, and really the only down side, is the lack of restaurants near here — they are all the cheapest of the cheap fast food chains. You will be driving if you want something «real» for dinner.

Quite a nice place to stay in the Anderson area — mostly because there wasn’t anyone else there! We stayed at this Hampton a few weekends back while visiting my great-​aunt in SC. I never saw a single other guest, but saw/​heard LOTS of staff, constantly telling me to have a nice day and asking me if I needed anything. Can’t complain.
The hotel is right off the interstate and it’s about 15 min from downtown Anderson. The room was pretty good and the breakfast in the morning was very convenient. Hopefully we’ll stay here again when we’re in the neighborhood.

Good hotel with nice, modern appointments, clean rooms and beds. This room had a nice flat screen TV with a good number of Analog and HD channels. Hampton Inn’s offer a reasonable, get it yourself, hot breakfast each morning vs. the stale bagel and toaster typical of most places in this price range. Service ranged from awesome and friendly on a Friday check-​in and very friendly folks bringing out the breakfast foods to a snotty woman on the front desk on Saturday evening. She is the reason for not having a fifth star.
Price is moderate UNLESS it’s a Clemson game weekend.

Brand new property. I stayed there back in mid July and they hadn’t even put the mattress on my bed when I got to my room!
The desk staff was extremely nice and put me in a different room (the housekeeping staff had long since left for the day).
The bathroom smelled a bit odd, maybe from new glue or something along those lines.
