Thought it was pretty cool until I found out my MAC eyeshadow I bought there was counterfeit. I should have probably known! Now I’m finding out it may contain lead. Be careful and stay away from a lady selling the Mac and Urban Decay cosmetics… they’re fake and may contain harmful chemicals.

she is a trader not a customer, inside both: buys from you, then sells at double or 3 times what she got from you ! lies to your face !!!

Bad idea to peruse this place wearing flip flops. The place is strewn with krusty metal scrap and filthy junk everywhere I was scared I’d either get tetanus or Hep C. The Redding swap meet is a sad place. It’s right next to the recycling yard so you almost have to wonder if people are selling the scrap from the recycling place?!! If you’re looking for a cheap set of tools or dishes to do craft stuff with you’re better off just going to the thrift store where at least the items are more likely to still be functional. Just about every tool, electronic, or dish that someone is trying to hawk at the swap meet is bona-​fide BROKEN. Like you shouldn’t even by trying to sell it.
There’s a headshop that looks kinda sad, like the pipes have been sold in a few years. They don’t sell any vape supplies so your options are limited.
It’s pretty smelly. It’s just not a good swap meet.

This place is pretty terrible. Actually, one of the sellers offered me a free cat. If I didn’t take the cat he said that he was going to put it down. He said that it belonged to his daughter. Is there any way of filtering these people out from buying space at this place? I don’t want to buy a piece of junk from a man who is threatening me. Maybe he is better suited to taking up space in prison.

My little boy and I stop here once in a while because he wants to see if he can find cool new or old Hot Wheels. He has had luck with both.
I have lucked out with used DVDs for $ 2 – 3. Not bad.

I have not been to the JGFM since 1982. What happened to the bins of used tools, the arcade, real people selling real second hand stuff… not the China cast offs?
