It’s a shame, because I do like most of the staff there, and Jeri Cates, my soon to be ex health care provider, has always been great at trying to get my health issues properly diagnosed and treated i.e. xrays, MRI, etc., But, when others who work there, who are assistants to the doctors and who are responsible of doing all the referrals, pharmacy scripts called or faxed to the proper place, don’t care about the patients and don’t do what they’re supposed to do, it doesn’t matter how wonderful the doctors are because their referrals that are to be done, aren’t, and medications that are ordered don’t get called over. The assistant to Jeri has not done any of my referals and I’ve been waiting on them since Nov. of last year. I’ve been in need of surgery, an MRI, physical therapy, spinal injections, just to name a few of the things that I need done. The assistant was also supposed to be calling over my scripts, but didn’t and then argued with me when I asked why the medications were not ordered saying that there never was anything prescribed. I saw Jeri on Friday, and she apologized that her assistant did that and Jeri said she absolutely remembered the visit where she had ordered it to be called in. I was in horrific pain for days and ever since those days of indescribable agony, my condition has worsened, sadly, and continues to worsen and at a much faster pace. Then, to discover that NONE of my referrals had been done… I decided enough was enough. I don’t have the luxury of wasting anymore of the life I am blessed to still have.
