Service was pretty quick. The food was not bad, but nothing special. We went about two in the afternoon so it was not busy. We both got the chicken bowl, it seemed a little small and was served in a paper bowl. Nothing special about the place, but it wasn’t a bad experience.

The food is usually really good and very reasonably priced. It’s bland compared to most Chinese or Japanese take out but the steak hibachi is fresh and cooked to order which you don’t always get with Japanese take out. Both the hibachi and teriyaki styles are good but I prefer the hibachi. The sushi is nothing to get excited about but is OK as an appetizer. The tempura vegetables appetizer is really good also.

This place doesn’t look like much on the outside but is pretty clean on the inside and nicely decorated. The food is cheap. Maki rolls are less than $ 4. I like taking the kids to these kinda places… they don’t know the difference between great and decent. This place is decent. The maki rolls were pretty good, although I don’t like the huge chunk of cucumber that a lot of the lower priced places use in lieu of chopping it up. It overwhelms the roll. But I digress, lol. Like the review for m Sakura up the street… decent but not great.
