As usual, extraordinarily courteous phone response and timely tech response. Have not required their service except for occasional preventative maintenance but no heat this morning prompted a call to them. Tech, Kevin, came as promised and had the problem, the original and ancient circuit board, replaced quickly and at a very reasonable cost. Comforting to know we have had NARDCO repair our 20 year-old furnace going into another old Indiana winter!

in 2013 we had a heater installed by nardco along with an whole house air conditioning. also a 10 year extended warrenty, after that installed heater they left without testing it. when we first used the heater it heated 2 rooms to 90+ degrees rest of house was cold. we called them back and even after collecting over 9000 on air conditioner and heater. they wanted 500 more to fix duct work which should have been checked before they left first time. they came back out duct work was still not right. we had to close rooms off to get heat to other rooms. the duct work contract is a separate contract. in the summer of 2014 we called them for service on air conditioning unit. it was beginning of season and air conditioner was staying on constantly. it was set for 75 but inside temp said 81. They came out and said was from ducts being closed. so we opened up all ducts and still had problem. So this year same thing we made sure we had all ducts open and all doors open. They won’t come out because of chapter 13 their bill for 500 dollars that we think is bogus. Duct work and warrenty were on separate contracts. After talking to them today they said that warrenty we paid for was a trane extended warrenty. I called Trane and they said they stopped selling dealer warrenties in May of 2013. So this was a lie. Since we bought in December. that was impossible. so we bought a 10 year labor contract thru Nardco. So my guess thru the length of 10 years that runs thru 2023. we will probably have other service calls, so rather then sue nardco for 300 dollars we will sue them every time we have work done that they refuse to do. latest they say they will come out and confirm that all equipment is working. 6 – 23 Well Today they sent out a knowlegable repair person that took time to explain things to us of what the problems seem to be. he actually did not say doors need to be open(he understood dogs were behind them) Strill waiting for rest of agreement to be completed before any changes. They bought out warrenty gave us 400 back for a $ 300 warrenty. So to sum up they did shoddy work. Then they lied to us. Then paid to get out of extended warrenty.
