Stopped in for lunch thinking it was a local meat and three. Once inside we realized it was a Greek restaurant and from the nice interior we thought the prices would be a little high and we were right. My friend ordered a Calzone Supreme which looked great and he was very pleased with it. I ordered a Gyro sandwich and a Dinner salad. The menu said all sandwiches came with a dill pickle and chips. When the waitress brought the food there was no chips and the dill pickle looked like it had been sitting out for days. I asked about the chips and she said that the Gyro didn’t come with chips. What? The waitress was attentive with the tea but wasn’t very talkative at all. This is not a place for lunch because there was no lunch specials offered, maybe good for a dinner since the prices were higher and the décor was nice.

HORRIBLE!!! Do not waste your money at this restaurant. I asked for chicken Parmesan with fettuccini instead of spaghetti noodles. They brought out fettuccini Alfredo 3 times and when the cook came out and I tried to explain what I was asking for he got an attitude and treated me with such disrespect. I refuse to go to a place with mediocre food and terrible service. Just go to Olive Garden, at least you’ll get what I want. Don’t waste your money here.

I give this place 0 stars but it makes me give them 1. It was terrible, my waitress was incompetent and did not seem to be fully there. My food was fine however my friend asked for an order that the manager did not want to provide so instead of saying he did not understand what she was asking for he brought the same plate out three separate times and expected her to take it and continued to be disrespectful. They also failed to bring the food out at the same time. In all the years I have had Unilocal and lived in several different places this was the only restaurant that has ever warranted a review from me. DON’T DOIT.

The service was great. The owner was very sweet and attentive. The waitress told us about the specials and continued to come back to make sure everything was OK. The portions are more than adequate for one. However, the eggplant parmigana was a bit odd. It consisted of pieces of unbreaded eggplant under cheese. I’ve never had unbreaded eggplant parmigana. It was served over spaghetti marinara. The spaghetti was cooked al dente but there was nothing special about the sauce. Bread was also served with the meal. I thought it was just toasted buttered bread until I saw the take home menu. It was supposed to be garlic bread. There was no taste of garlic on the bread whatsoever. For dessert, I ordered the baklava that the waitress claimed was really good. I thought it was made in-house. But since the waitress said it was really good, I ordered it anyway. It was served on a liner that comes straight from a box. It was so hard that I couldn’t cut through it with my fork.

Eggplant was soggy. The waitress didn’t tell us the specials. She brought my husband’s dinner 10 minutes before mine. We had to ask for my entrée. We weren’t offered a salad or appetizers We weren’t offered desert. It seemed we were a bother. My husbands chicken Alfredo was good but most likely will not be back.

This was the second time here. Food was great again and friendly staff. I travel for work and always try to find the local places to eat. This is one I definitely will visit when in Anderson.

Excellent service. My mom and I both had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. It was very, very good! We both had dinner salads to start. They were nothing special. Homemade salad dressings would be much better than the store bought ones, but the entrée was delicious!

The food was good, and the portions were ample. The staff was sincerely friendly. I had the lasagna, the sauce taste home made and the noodles were not overcooked. My wife had the chicken and spaghetti. The chicken taste like it was cooked in the sauce(like my mother use to cook it). The pasta was not over cooked and it had to be ¾ of a pound of spaghetti. It is not the best Italian food I ever had, but it is the best I had since I left Jersey. The bill came to $ 31.00 for 2 people and 2 side salads. We’ll worth it.

Fresh, homemade, delicious, great prices and fast service! My veggie calzone was full of fresh vegetables in a delicious pastry. My husband had the lasagne which was the best I’ve had in years-made with house made tender pasta. A jewel among a row of chain restaurants!

Authentic Italian food, something you wouldn’t expect in Anderson. If you’re in town or live here definitely give this place a try you’ll love it! It is a little weird that they don’t let you split your portions as their big. Also the owners are extremely rude to there employees. But once again the food is great. Update, I was in last week(Nov. 2015) and had the Alfredo and yeah it had NO taste! I needed to add salt…

My wife enjoyed chicken alfredo and I enjoyed the spaghetti with meatballs. The price $ 10.99 each. We could have easily split 1 so we had left overs! We were greeted and set promptly, the drinks and food were ready quickly. Great service but could have a larger wine selection.
