Being from New Orleans, I have been searching for authentic Louisiana cuisine. Unlike most customers, I would not be fooled if the food were not authentic because I make the food in my own home. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This is not Yat’s where they make 20 versions of étouffée and claim it is Cajun food. I had étouffée and my husband a po boy. The food is definitely authentic, delicious and she and her son do a great job at service. If you don’t go you will be missing out. I doubt it’s very often that Anderson gets a chance to taste authentic Louisiana cuisine.

Catfish po’boys and fries are amazing! Pretty much the entire menu is amazing! You will not be disappointed. The funny thing is I dont usually like pickles on my sandwich, but at The Big Easy I LOVE them on there. All the ingredients are fresh, which makes it even better. The bread is also amazing. Leah and Jeff are always friendly and have great customer service.
