Yip’s Chop Stick House

The owners of Yips are incredibly friendly. My boyfriend and I eat here often when we want Chinese. We are always greeted by the owner. She always apologizes for having us wait, even if we get there earlier than when they said the food would be done.
Usually we get the hot and spicy chicken, Hunan chicken or general tsos, and sweet and sour chicken. (Gotta get a variety and leftover Chinese is always awesome) my favorite is the hot and spicy chicken. It is always hot and fresh.
We have had one time where the order was messed up and the owner corrected it right away and apologized. I was really impressed with how she fixed it quickly and made sure we were happy. That being said, this is one of the only places in Anderson that I have gone to with good customer service.

The service is excellent and so is the food. The buffet is very good but the best is off the menu! Love this place.

Staff is very friendly, we we ate there it was after lunch rush so the food had been out a while but still tasty. I’ll be back at a peak hour hope it’s more fresh then

I ate here at around 6:40, and the food tasted old. The kind and friendly owner admitted as much when I was leaving, suggesting I come and eat earlier when the food is fresher, so it wasn’t just my taste. I like my food hot, but the temperature of the food was lukewarm at best, and the chicken on a stick was downright cool. A lot of people like this place, but I am not one of them. I expect hot, fresh food at a buffet, and I received neither. The selection is decent, and the desserts were pretty good. The rice was fine, and the service was very attentive. Unfortunately, I thought the food was not up to par. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Best Place Ever. Been going to yips for over 15 years best Chinese you will ever find!

This is by far the best Chinese Food in Anderson. Only Chinese I’ve had better is PF Changs. The building looks shady but it is clean inside. I’ve been eating there for probably 20 years now.

Been going here since I was a lil girl! I’m now 31 still a faithful customer! Best in town!

How anyone could give less than 4 or 5 stars is beyond me? The food at yips is amazing and my dad eats there almost daily. The staff is friendly and mrs. Sammie yip is the best host around. Thumbs way up in my book!

I got the buffet here and it was terrible! Probably the worst Asian restaurant I’ve ever been too. Everything tasted and looked like it had been reheated over and over again.

Buffet was not very good… will not be back
