I’ve been visiting this Diner every month. I have my Mom that lives 5 minutes in the Rehab Center from the Diner. We drive an hour away each month to come and have a wonderful lunch! The food is great, well cooked, the waiters are always very nice. We always get a large fork full of food, so there is always enough to have for 2 – 3 days extra! The plates always have a nice presentation! My Grandma and I visit each month, and she loves the Diner so much as I do! My staff that takes us each month, loves it! Since I live in a group home, my family and I come by all the time! The menu is a large selection, but We enjoy every bit! Thanks Andover Diner! We’ll see you guys again soon!

The Andover diner has great breakfast and you can’t beat the price for what you got they have a great Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich I highly recommend.

Roast turkey with stuffing and mashed. All blah. Turkey was like turkey roll. Thin. Gelatinous. Gravy watery. Stuffing was reasonably good. Potatoes were instant. Corn and green beans. Nothing memorable. Waitress was disinterested. Only one other person. Last chance. This place needs a complete overhaul. Food. Décor. Blah.

Reliable diner food with quick service(and good coffee). For a reasonable price to get enough on the breakfast plate to fill your belly but not overfill. Plenty of parking, nice old school metal diner with stool seating as well as booths and tables in the back room. Services the purpose.

Not good… had a bacon cheeseburger. Bacon was deep fried to the point of no return. Burger was thin and the onion rings shared the same torturous bath in the deep fryer. The service was good sweet old woman they just need to fire the cook or take burgers off the menu.

My son and I took a big hike in the Andover area and wanted to try someplace new. Well, the Andover Diner isn’t exactly new but it was to us. Classic looking place. Just what a diner should look like. We ordered the usual. Chicken fingers and fries for my son. Onion omelette, well done home fries and rye toast for me. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Good food, good service and a nice owner who seats and chats with customers. We’ll be back.

Andover Diner is the best! We love the quality of the food and the service from the staff is excellent. Ever since George took over, we wouldn’t go anywhere else! Breakfast, lunch and dinner… unfortunately we moved to California and we miss this place!

Great classic diner feel, but the service was dreadful and the food was just ok. My son ordered breakfast and was happy with it, but my turkey club was made from what tasted like packaged turkey and not fresh. My husband was missing two sides but the waitress never checked in us… ever! I finished the tiny soda before my food came and wanted a refill, the owner stood very close to our table the entire time and never inquired how things were. We left feeling ignored… such bad service ruined what would have been a pretty good experience since the nostalgic atmosphere was winning over the ok food.

We love this diner and come whenever we can. Food is great. Waitresses are friendly. Yes the guy at the front is a bit rude and the plastic soda cups are tiny but those are the only real negatives here.

Best Diner in Sussex County. I would have given it 5 Stars but for some reason, they removed the best dish they had from the menu. The Chicken Saltambocca was to die for. And it’s no longer offered. But the food is great. Home made soup, and great staff. The little red diner is worth the trip every time I visit the area.

Decided to try out this Diner after years of passing by. Was very disappointed: waitress was so unfriendly and disappeared a few times… and it wasn’t busy at all. Food was ok but the butter was sour and ½ way through our meal we spotted a cockroach on our table… horrible. When paying the person at the desk acted like we were, bothering him because we wanted to pay, felt very unwelcome. Overall don’t waste your money, staff need a lesson in manners an professionalism and place needed to be, fumed for roaches.

My daughter and I stopped in-had Monday special– beef goulash and chicken orzo soup-delicious. My daughter enjoyed ham, egg and cheese on a bagel. We both had rice pudding topped with whipped cream– staff was friendly– we will be back

Oh, man! What a find! I loved this place. Have driven past for years, but only stopped in the other night. Good coffee, outstanding pie, and portions were generous for the price. Waitress was a doll. There appeared to be a number of interesting items on the specials board. Looking forward to returning.

Very uneven. Quality and presentation varies from good to «why did I choose this place». Breakfast is ok but that meal is hard to screw up.

I order for pick up often and the food is great. Pleasant service, food is typically ready or still extremely hot, and inexpensive.

Older décor but very clean. We ended up here by default on a Sunday when everything else was closed. Food turned out to be quite good, I got a bacon Swiss omelet and pancakes, my partner got a chicken parm sandwich with fries. Very large portions and everything was tasty. If we’re back in the area, which isn’t often, we’d definitely go back.

Went here with four other couples the morning after my brothers wedding. The diner itself was a little bit older, but it’s a diner and it fit the need for all of us hung over people. They wee was very nice and accommodating and the waitress was able to make separate checks for each of the couples order. I had the Hungry Man breakfast which was: ham, bacon, sausage, home fries, two eggs, and pancakes. Except I traded my pancakes for French Toast(That’s a pro move right there). Everything came out at the same time and all the food was made perfectly.

Basic diner chow with a big menu and generous portions. Good homemade soups
