We chose this company to do our half bathroom tile last year because the person who came and gave us a quote seems very professional. However, they were not professional at all! Be aware people! Their contractors didn’t cut the wood flooring between the bathroom and the kitchen in straight line so ended up using some kind of material to filled up the space and also, the tile was not in straight line.(we didn’t know until my friend who does wood flooring showed and told us how they are not lining straight). Not only that, they did pretty bad job on installing base boards. I had to called back and asked to fix the visible spaces. Again, they brought liquid space fuller to cover up their lousy jobs. Besides, some tiles are raised higher than others. We paid about $ 1200 for tiles and labor. We paid half first and we received another bill before even the job was finished!!! We had to wait more than one month to start the job which was ridiculous. And, interestingly their excuse for awful jobs were«people make mistakes». If their contractors make mistakes it is the company responsibility and they should take action or handle the problem more professionally. I would not recommend to anyone about this company.

At the recommendation of our real estate agent, we chose Arrow Floor to carpet our upstairs before we moved in. We chose carpet in the middle of their price range, and it was installed on time. Sales were helpful and friendly. The(big) problem arose about a year after installation — large ridges developed in our upstairs carpet, even in a seldom-used guest room. Arrow came out and stretched the carpet, but the ridges re-appeared within a year. I called back, and they said they would come again — for $ 800, or nearly 1⁄5 the cost of the carpet. I don’t know if I picked poor quality carpet or it was mis-installed, but no carpet should have 1″ ridges after two years. By contrast, we had similar-priced carpet installed by Arlington Carpet in Lawrence in two rooms on the first floor — in much more heavily used areas — and it has never needed to be stretched and still looks great 8 years later. fyi, I have paid Arlington $ 400 to stretch the carpet on two ocasions, and plan to pay them to replace it in the near future.
