Pipe Dream Cupcakes

I ordered a dozen assorted cupcakes to ship to a family member’s office nearby and they were a MONSTER hit! Everyone loved the deliciously decadent flavors, and Nadine was an absolute joy to work with (even via email), and delivered the cupcakes herself. I will for sure be ordering more soon! Next, I’m going to try the cupcakes in a jar — they look amazing.

Ok, these are delicious. Like really, really good. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the cupcake. In fact, I’d probably get another one if it weren’t for the price. They are $ 3 a cupcake which isn’t an unreasonable amount of money. With tax, this comes to $ 3.25. However, the cupcakes are definitely on the averagely sized scale. I would rather pay another dollar for a giant massive cupcake that makes me bleed chocolate than an averagely sized $ 3 cupcake. Just my two cents though. 4 stars for how fantastic it is, knocked off a star for the price/​size ratio. I really wish Unilocal let you do half stars…

These are the real deal! No chalky frosting, no stale cupcake — beautiful moist cake and sweet silky frosting.
I’m currently having the Chocolate Chocolate Chip which is simple, but great! I’ve also had the Purple Velvet (yep, exactly like Red Velvet but Purple) and that was equally good!
I need to go here more often!

I am Pipe Dream’s hugest fan. I have tried at least 7 different cupcake flavors since October, and they were great. She changes the flavors daily, so it’s always a surprise, but her frosting is to die for and the flavors are really creative. They change seasonally, so right now they are Valentine oriented — red velvet, chocolate covered cherry, wedding cake, etc. She also has some regulars that resurface like oreo, hot fudge sundae, salted caramel.
The only trick is that she is only out 3 days a week for about 4 hours each day (she parks in various places in Andover and N. Andover), and sometimes another area or two). I follow her on twitter and fb and know what will be on the truck and where she’ll park when, but even so — I only catch her about once a month.
They make other cupcakes in the metro area look sad. I’m a serious cupcake gal and these are head and shoulders above the others.
