I have dealt with Treescapes on three different occasions. I was hopeful I could buy local, instead of going having to drive in to Wichita, but unless you are willing to pay extra high prices, it isn’t going to happen. Their number one goal is to make money, not build a good customer base. It is obvious that they are gearing their business to their elite friends, it is the only way they can stay in business. We were needing some trees a few years back, and they were over $ 100 more per tree than the same tree breed at a competing nursery a few miles west. We needed some seat cushions for our patio. We could get no one to help us. We were the only family in the store and the lady running the register would not come to see if we needed any help. Finally, there is a sign along the street saying they are a UPS Pick Up location. They are, but they charge $ 3-$ 4 for the service, as I was told that UPS charges them to stop at their location to pick up packages. I call B.S. So I started doing one of a few other things, either having UPS stop at my house for free and pick the packages up, Drop them off at PostNet in Wichita and drop them off or catch a UPS truck driving down the street. All of these are free. I find it amazing that this business is still going, as Customer Service is not in their main objectives.

We’ve used Treescapes to maintain our sprinkler system for three years now. This is the last year we will use them. The techs that come out have always been nice and fairly competent. Dealing with the person in charge of scheduling is a nightmare though. Two years ago she rescheduled our appointment without telling us and we had to call back in after the tech did not show. This year the same thing happened twice more. It’s a flip of a coin whether she will treat you respectfully or rudely when you call in. Their prices have also gone up over 50% since they built their new building. Look elsewhere for good customer service. We will be.
