They have great pizza, but as I was waiting I saw some turn offs. Who I’m assuming is the manager screaming at staff in all directions. He seemed like he enjoyed degrading them in front of me and other customers. It was over how many napkins I needed and taking too much time to count plates out that I asked for. He had a bald head and seemed mad at the world. After witnessing that I felt out of place and wanted to leave.

What a hidden gem… hidden in plain sight. It has a total dive look and feel and I would have passed it by had the Unilocal reviews not been stellar. They have a lunch buffet for 6.99 which is all you can eat. Its small but the offerings are very high quality. I also want to point out while the décor is origional 70s diner chic, the service is 5 stars! The two young ladies working there are friendly, efficient, and really sell the place! 3 types of NY style pizza are offered for starters. The crust was PERFECT; light, not too chewy, and topped with quality ingredients. I am normally not a fan of pizza but I quickly became a fan of this pizza. The garlic knots were also out of this world. The meatballs are homemade and so full of garlic that a vampire would suffer seizures being in the same room… and damn they were good; like some of the best Ive had… ever! Penne al Vodka was exceptional… better than Ive had at 5 star restaurants. They also had fettuccine carbonara with panchetta which was so rich and creamy… wow. This meal was an amazing and delightful suprise. One last thing, I wanted some salad so I ordered the Caesar salad for ~5.00. It was huge, fresh, delicious, and with 3 of us eating it, we still didnt finish it. To quote Schwarzenegger, «I’ll be back!»

Service is abysmal. The buffet lacks variation and is quite boring. This place lacks any professionalism or organization. Salad is lettuce and mozzarella cheese with a couple of cuke slices and tomatoes. Very poor.

Food is easily 5 stars. Baked Ziti with eggplant was truly some of the best I’ve ever had. Wife’s lasagna was the same story. Giant portions. Zero complaints there. Service 5 stars. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Hostess was very friendly and greeted us with a welcoming smile. Our waitress was truly incredible. When we ordered I was unsure of what salad dressing to get. She informed us that she would make us the best balsamic dressing that we’d ever have. Of course I thought to myself that she was full of shit, but damn if it wasn’t a great dressing. Throughout our meal she(and the entire staff) were super attentive making sure that drinks were full. Can’t forget the busboys. Finished plates were immediately disappeared from the table throughout the entire restaurant. To be honest it was pretty damn impressive. Staff when we were there were all high school/just starting college age with the exception of the kitchen staff. They truly were truly a well-oiled machine. Why one star? About halfway through our meal someone who I can only assume was one of the two cousins arrived all full of piss and vinegar. We watched him dress down employees from each facet of the restaurant. Busboy, kitchen staff, waitresses. No one was immune from his napoleonic rants. As a business owner for just short of 20 years I know what is like to have a staff that truly represents your brand like it’s your own. That is what every business owner strives for and Mr Cousin’s you’ve got them. We didn’t see a single person not giving their all to their job. Not one, and honestly that’s amazing when you’re employing teenagers. Now, I understand that the flip side of my disgust could easily be countered by saying«well why the hell do you think that the employees work so well»? I’ll give you that to an extent, but I watched this guy peacock around the restaurant for the last 5 minutes that we were there. Showering each employee with a litany of things that him/her were doing wrong. Know what dude, for the hour we were in there the only thing that we saw were smiling faces. Customers and employees. The last straw for us was right after we finished eating there was an issue. We were going to stay and have dessert and watch the football game. As I was battling with the crucial decision of Limoncello or a canolli the last straw for us happened. Seems that friends of the pleasant Mr Cousin’s had ordered either take out or delivery and had gotten either the wrong order or had not received everything that they paid for. That served as gasoline for the final absolute annihilation of the night for us. In the dead middle of the restaurant he laid into our waitress. Repeatedly asking why she did this, how come she didn’t do that. Each time that she’d attempt to answer his questions he’d ask it in an even shittier tone of voice. That was it for me. No more. I asked for the check bill came to 34 something and we paid with a card. Left a few words of inspiration for our waitress and left. Your boss is a dick. You were awesome Tip 66 bucks Total 100

I really like the food from here and it’s great they deliver. I have only had to wait for my food longer than I should have once. Unfortunately it was when I was bragging about this place to my son from out of town.

The service here is wonderful. Very respectful, greeted immediately, sat fast, and was given our drinks and order in a timely manner. The restaurant is clean and so are the restrooms. The pizza is great as well. The only thing I have to complain about is the calamari. It was very hard and chewy. So we paid almost $ 8 for something we couldn’t even eat. Over all it was a great place and we will be back soon!

2 Cousins definitely has the best Authentic NY Style pizza around. Love their lunch buffet as well. Favorite pasta is penne with chicken and vodka sauce. Can’t beat it!

Love this place! Excellent pizza and pasta– not your run of the mill pizza like a chain store. They can make most any dish of pasta you can think of, as well. Worth the occasional carb splurge!

Visited Angier for the first time and stopped in 2 Cousins for dinner. Food was fantastic, the service was great… All around nice place for pizza and calzone. It’s good when you find a good non-chain restaurant.

Let me start off by stating that I have only gotten carry out from this place. We live in Lillington so we order from 2 Cousins to take the food home on the way back from Fuquay. The Pizza’s we’ve had a very good and they have a stuffed pizza that is out of this world good. I’ve also had their calzones as well. I will update my review if I ever sit in and try their buffet or regular menu but they always are very professional and courteous to my wife and I. They are always ready with our food when they say they will be and it’s never a long wait. Highly recommended.

Located in a strip mall this place isn’t much to look at from the outside. However, I was instantly impressed with politeness of the staff as we entered. Southern hospitality is the only term to describe the approachable friendliness of the staff. The dinner menu is broad but we decided to order pizza. They do serve beer and wine. The beer menu has pretty good and includes two NC beers! The wine menu was ok and boasted over seven reds but they only had two in stock. Yet, the one that we tried was very nice. The pizza arrived cooked just right. Nice a brown without being burnt. Good quality and taste for a place that uses standard pizza ovens. The ingredients were good in that they were above a cheap chain but less than a gourmet pizza place. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere that is enhanced by the color of the tables but is limited by the lighting which, in part of the dining area, is simply too bright for dinner. Given where it is, this is a winner.

Food was hot and good. Was disappointed in the buffet. Very little to choice from. Only had three choices for pizza, garlic bread, meatballs, and two different spaghetti for. $ 5.99. Wish they had offered salad. Food was salty!

A few Millimeters better than many and do they have ANY competition? We Got Pasta! My Bride got Tortellini with Alfredo Sauce and my choice was Meat Sauce on Spaghetti which is what I would order at just about any place like this… Salad(included with Entrée), this was a nice sized(!ceburg Lettuce) Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, SUPER thin sliced Red Onion, Tomato and Dressing(s)! Bread(included) was Very Good, way better than most Restaurants! House-made Balsamic was Very Good, on Bread, on Cheese, on Onions, on Tomatoes, on a spoon and Straight! Not a fraction of a millimeter was left! I threw the Lettuce out to the birds… just kidding that would be littering. Servers were very nice and Organized! They Open at Noon on Sundays, they were about three Quarters Full by 12:30… a crowd of us were waiting and they let us in a few minutes before Noon! Second Salad Dressing was Oil and Red Wine Vinegar and was as plain as Red Wine Vinegar and Oil most of it was left. Next time I’m bringing a Measuring Instrument and we’ll get Pizza!

We were driving through town when Unilocal said this place was very good so we stopped. It took forever for them to make my wife’s calzone and was pretty good, but my steak and cheese sub totally rocked. We are going to go back and try the pizza next time. This is a good place to bookmark.
