If you’re in Angleton and looking for a quick bite of Chinese(without having to deal with a buffet), this is the place. The food is decent and always piping hot when it’s served. It’s a bit small inside, but if you’re just grabbing it to go, you can use the drive thru.

Called in to do my civic duty, had a chance to walk around the corner, great food, small place but clean and everybody very friendly!

The food was okay but not that great. I ordered the shrimp lo Mian but it didn’t really have much vegetables on it. Shrimp was a good size but there was so few of them!!! Majority was just plain noodles and it got served with a giant cup of fried rice(also was very plain rice with bits of egg in it — I mean you can mistaken that for steamed rice it is that plain). So it was just too much plain noodles and rice. The egg rolls which I tried are alright. I think is over I cooked and the filling are not that tasty /mushy. The crab cheese wontons are run of the mill. Even it says it is crab cheese all I can taste is full of cream cheese and no crab. The customer service is not friendly but responsive. The lady(wife?) is not so friendly. She looks like she’s mad all the time. Her husband is a little bit nicer. The only reason I gave a 2 stars is that when I requested more vegetable the man /owner did deliver and added them on my noodles. The place is somewhat clean but the floor is a bit sticky and that makes the place feel grimy. If you are here for jury duty like me and needs a place to eat, this is okay as it is the only Asian restaurant in town. But if you just go to Houston or Pearland there are plenty of Chinese restaurant that are miles better than this.

The dumplings, fried or steamed, are just amazing. Sure wish I knew what was in that heavenly dipping sauce they give you! My first time getting«platters» rather than bulk takeout. Platters come with fried rice rather than steamed. You don’t want the fried rice here. Ask for the steamed instead. I have to take a star away for the fried rice, and the rude service on the phone tonight. I thought they might have something special on the menu for Chinese New Year, but was met with a bored«just shut up and order» attitude. They also forgot the egg rolls that were supposed to be included with each plate. Another visit is guaranteed since they really have no competition, but a drive to Lake Jackson is not out of the question and they should remember that.

I was very skeptical going into this place because the outside looks so worn out and shabby. However, the inside was clean and welcoming and the food was yummy! I ordered the pepper steak, and it was tasty — better than the Chinese food you’d get at the mall. It was not greasy and not too salty. The dish came out very hot and the entire meal, including steamed rice was less than $ 6! I would definitely come again :)

Wonderful place! I’ve been going here for years and the food is always hot and freshly cooked. The Lo Mein is great and one order is almost enough for two people. The sweet and sour chicken is pretty good as well. Just dont forget an order of the Chinese biscuits to go with it. As a side note, the staff is pretty friendly. Even though I only visit on occasion, the lady who works there knows my family and our usual order and is always smiling. A good experience all around.

I usually get the lo mein, which is good, fresh, and contains enough for two meals. Great value for what you get.

I like the green beans extra spicy and the veggies extra spicy. You can go home and add more spice later… don’t get the fried rice. Get the steamed rice. Also, this is good value for money and the only Chinese restaurant I would eat at in Angleton.

For local Chinese food it’s simply great food and value. I just love how nice they are and the food is very good. Great prices too. $ 3.00 a combo plate cheaper than Freeport ! We eat here once a month now. Thank goodness for these people.

Four stars for the friendly staff. While I would sometimes wish for better quality ingredients, I can rarely fault their preparation. My favorite is the green beans and pork, at one time they used actual Chinese long beans, but apparently that was a little too exotic for Angleton. The fried rice is inoffensive but palatable. The prices more than fair and the service very fast. Have business to conduct in the court house and need a quick bite for lunch nearby, this is the place. I can also recommend the egg drop soup for husbands with a cold.

I have eaten at the Wok several times, food here is good, always hot and fresh, no complaints here! I usually order the chicken lo mein, but I am planning on trying something different next visit! The one thing negative comment I would make is that I was charged $ 0.25 extra for some extra sweet and sour sauce, this was a first! In all the years I have been ordering Chinese take-out, I have never once been charged extra for some extra sweet and sour sauce! The cups are really quite small, so additional is required, at least by me! This just rubbed me the wrong way, even though it’s not much money, it’s the principle of the matter! All in all, a good eating experience!

Fast, fresh, great price and very good! We got our usually to share between the family, shrimp fried rice, veggie lo mein, and orange chicken. Oh and some egg rolls Most other places this cost us about 40 $! Here it was 29 $! All included fried rice!

We need to eat here more often. This is not gourmet Chinese food but it is good. Food so hot it almost burned my mouth. Hands down better than the local buffet. Very reasonably priced. Had the orange chicken with rice today and enjoyed every bite!

What a great deal! Lunch specials that are under $ 5 that is more than you can eat. The staff is always friendly and the food is prepared to order. I try to stop there anytime that i am in Angleton. Great value and good food.

The portion for the price was great and is enough for me to go back. The kung pow chicken I had wasn’t my favorite, but I see a lot of promise and I am excited to try other items on their menu. Probably always going to be a take out restaurant. The facilities are not bad, but I don’t see myself sitting down there to relax. I am excited for return visits!

This is the best Chinese restaurant in town and one of the best restaurants in Angleton overall. It’s an easy walk from the Courthouse and convenient to downtown. As Rex said, you order at the counter and they take the food to your table. The main menu is standard fair, what’s worthwhile are the dishes handwritten on slips of paper at the bottom of the menu. I prefer their Singapore Noodles, although the Orange Beef, Special Noodle or Spicy Shrimp are all very good.

Great little place. Food is prepared when ordered and served HOT! I’ve tried probably half the menu and haven’t had a bad meal yet. Order at the counter and the food is taken to you. Orange beef is best around. Fried rice is «meh» but other sides are great. To clarify: the fried rice is «meh» but the pork fried rice is GOOD!
