I have been using this Kroger for the past year and I really enjoy it. The produce is fairly fresh and there are often really good deals available. I love scoping out the clearance sections every time I visit. You can buy a years worth of sunscreen, cold medicine, water bottles, whatever is out of season, you can buy a ton of it for next year at half the price. I love bacon O_O… but I hate all the stuff they put in bacon, but Kroger has two natural bacon options which is nice, and they are often marked on sale or clearance enough to make their price comparable to other brands. I have caught them a few times charging me a different number other than what was marked, especially on the protein and cliff bars. But they are usually quick to fix the situation when I find a problem. Mostly, I live nearby and it’s convenient, so I will keep going. Something else to consider. Many credit cards offer special deals where you can get 3−6% off your groceries every month. Kroger also offers to donate 5% of your purchases to a charity if you buy through them and submit the proper paperwork. If you can get both of these options, you effectively give up to 10% of all of your purchases to something useful(either yourself or a charity). And THEN you can buy a bunch of gift cards through Kroger. Get your plane tickets, purchases, whatever, all through Kroger and get 10% off of all of those things too. Reducing all costs by 10% can add up savings and donations pretty quickly.
