The bouncer at the door kept looking at my bf’s ID then back at him over and over. My cousin, who has bounced there and personally knew the guy, repeatedly told him my bf was good to go. The bouncer said loudly more than twice «BUT THE ID SAYS FEMALE». I told the bouncer clearly that my bf was trans, but he just kept looking at the ID. My bf got fed up and had to lift his shirt up in front of the whole bar to show his top surgery scars to prove he was trans. The douche bag bouncer didn’t even apologize for his ignorance.
Looking back we should have just left immediately, but we were celebrating my sisters birthday…
My cousin apologized for the bouncer’a rude behavior saying that he just didn’t know… Well, he knows now…
