Fantastic, shopped here only a few times, 5 stars, exactly what a store should be. A definite hidden gem in Ann Arbor. Very personal service, or just left alone to browse. Dont be afraid to ask questions, extremely knowledgeable. Only once did I think that «maybe» I could have done better with a sale, only to find out later… they did me a super deal. What a great store hope it never changes.
The store is located on the 2^nd floor «stairs only» which kicks up the way cool ambiance factor by 100%.

Ann Arbor Stamp and Coin has a very large and diverse inventory of coins, medals, tokens, bullion objects, paper currency, militaria, and stamps in what may seem an unlikely location, and I was pleasantly surprised by the knowledge and helpfulness of staff in answering my often meandering and imprecise questions. There is a full line of archival supplies, and many bargains to be had, with high-​quality material at any price range (which in my case is rather modest). I was offered the highest percentage on official spot rates for my silver. The location is in a thriving strip mall with ample parking and frontage access, and conveniently close to grocery stores, large retailers, restaurants, and a dense cluster of reputable small specialty businesses; it is also only ½ mile from interstate 23 (and on 3 major frequent bus routes, too). I refer my friends here exclusively, especially since my experience with some of the other dealers in town has been a bit shady — even to the point where I have been directly lied to over the value of my silver by more than one unnamed «coin dealers,» i.e. opportunist pawn brokers (those «We Buy Gold» storefronts popping up near less affluent residential areas — beware their deception, as they prey on the desperate and uninformed). So I keep coming back.
