Great organization with an awesome crew of hard working staff members. A2so has a huge range of programs and events from Kinderconcerts for the little ones, to family concerts, to main stage concerts featuring several big name artists each year. A great organization in Ann Arbor that the entire family can enjoy for a night out !

The Michigan Theater was the place to be on Saturday night when the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra held their Sabor Latino concert! It was terrific: great music around the idea of Spanish-speaking countries and dances, with a great Latin American guitarist who’s winning competitions all over the world. Thank you, thank you, to the Ann Arbor Symphony, and to wonderful conductor Arie Lipsky. It’s a night my friends and I will never forget!

What an amazing entertainment value. I purchased season tickets for $ 60, and because it was my first time purchasing season tickets, they gave me a second set of tickets for free. The music is breath-taking. It is not stuffy. The best money that I ever spent. I’ll be buying season tickets again next year.

Ann Arbor’s very own professional orchestra – they’re awesome. Their season runs Sep. — Apr. and tickets are very affordable. I like that while their music is first-rate, it’s not a hoity-toity event each time. Yes, you can dress up and make a night out of it, but many people also go in jeans. Before the concerts they always have pre-concert lectures which tell you about the music that will be played that night, which is a really cool thing and very informative. The A2SO is a non-profit and they do a lot of great work for music education in local schools, so they’re a great place to spend your money for a fun and different night out. In addition to their regular concerts, which are on Saturdays, they always have family concerts the Sunday afterwards, which are more kid-friendly. They do free Kinderconcerts for little ones at local libraries, and cheap Afternoon Delights concerts for senior citizens or folks who can’t get out to a night show. All in all a fantastic part of our community.

Ann Arbor has a professional symphony that performs September through April. Performances are world-class, and some of the annual events have become popular traditions, including the Mozart Birthday Bash.
