The best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had, and I highly recommend adding some of their tavern cheese they make in house to it. All of their meats are delicious, and the service is always very friendly. As I live close by, I usually just take my sandwich to go. The fresh, local eggs they sell make the best omlettes.

Wow can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. Excellent jerky — habanero the best in my opinion. Pulled pork sandwiches so good, with awesome onions in particular. House-made beer really really good. All in all, a must-try in AA if you like no frills meat.

Really amazing meat and sausage selection. NOTFORDINEIN I also grabbed a sandwich and a brat while there. Chopped Brisket Sandwich: Brisket was not all that smokey but was sauced perfectly. Not wet, not dry, but moist. Raw white onion added texture and was refreshing. A healthy supply of pickle chips also adorned the top of the brisket. I will enjoy again. The Brat; They had thee today, apparently they rotate. I had the Michigan asparagus and cheddar. I dressed it with a bit of sauerkraut, chopped white onion, and a jalapeño mustard that had a sweet note to it. The mustard was killer, I wanted to eat the whole bottle. Nice char to the brat, super moist and flavorful. I got two bags of chips with this and it was $ 15.

One of my favorite unique ilttle hidden gems in Ann Arbor. Amazing sausages. If I buy bratwurst at a grocery store I end up wanting a bun and to slather it in toppings. With these? I love them plain, just enjoying the great meaty meatiness made with love.

Great pulled pork. We bought it by the pound and had it at home for lunch. The jerky was also excellent with great texture and flavor. The prices are on the more expensive side but everything was worth it.

Myself and a few people from work decided to check out the place out of curiosity and on recommendation from a team member. The place sits right off of state street and is hard to miss if you are not looking for it. It is a specialty place specifically for sausage and jerky. Entering is it setup like a deli. There are a variety of jerky’s and sausages to choose from. You can get pulled in with all the interesting selections they display. There are also sandwiches to try, primarily Pulled pork and Brisket. I opted for the brisket sandwich which was tasty and fresh. I pride myself on trying different things and being open so I also grabbed some various jerky’s to try later as I could not resist. Overall this is an interesting place. I plan on returning to try out some other selections.

Some businesses thrive by word of mouth. At Biercamp, the nose is the organ that keeps the cash register singing. As soon as you open the door you step into an olfactory carnival of spices, herbs, and the smoke of fragrant woods(and more recently the bready funk of fermenting barley). A whiff of that makes me want to grab one of everything, fire up my grill, and eat sausage until my body mass consists largely of pork and paprika. As you can tell, I’m a sausage lover, so there’s no way I could live in this town and not end up at Biercamp eventually. And in a few years of shopping there, I’ve had nothing that would make me question returning. Traditional varieties of sausage like bratwurst, kielbasa, and italian are there, but so are unique offerings like vidalia/cheddar brats, lamb kielbasa, mushroom/gouda brats, and several chorizos representing the styles of different parts of Latin America. One offering new to me was danish sausage, a kielbasa-like sausage with more«sweet» spicing(think pumpkin pie spice). While the sausages are good, and a few are outstanding(kielbasa, danish, Dirty Swiss Bastard brats, their unique, richly flavored hot dogs come to mind, along with all of their smoked sausages), many aren’t wildly better than, or in some cases even as good as, similar ones that other local markets sell for less(Expect to pay at least $ 10/lb for Biercamp sausage). Biercamp’s italian sausage is good, but not much better than what my neighborhood grocery makes in-house for half the price. Their chorizos are a little bland. Their Hillbilly breakfast sausage takes a back seat to some of the stuff you buy in plastic sleeves, not to mention some available from vendors at the Ann Arbor farmers’ market(again, for considerably less). On the other side of the store, in the bacon and jerky coolers, is where Biercamp really shines in my opinion, and where I will surrender my hard-earned cash without hesitation. Their Country bacon has become the standard by which I judge all others, and all others I’ve had before or since suffer by comparison. It’s well smoked, but not so much it covers the rich pork flavor that, once you experience it, you never want to end. Of course, their Berkshire and applewood bacons are great too, as is the pancetta, the duck bacon, the duck pastrami, the regular pastrami… you get the picture. My favorite jerky is the herbs de provence bacon jerky, but picking up a package of that is a tough decision when the others-from a basic beef jerky to sriracha turkey jerky – are also good enough to make me swoon. And whatever else you buy, pick up a tub of the spicy ale pickles. Put ‘em on a burger or brat, assuming you don’t eat every one of them straight from the container(guilty as charged). The ale in those pickles is house made of course. Biercamp has brewed beer for a while now and I haven’t tried all their selections, but I do enjoy the rich, malty IPA and their wheat beer. You may or may not want to make Biercamp your sole source of things smoked and cured, but you could find yourself sorely tempted.

This place has some really good sausage. I also love the sausage salad sandwich spread. It’s just way overpriced for me.

The smell that hits you at the door lets you know you’ve come to the right place. For somebody who is a fan of specialty meats and everything that goes with them, everything they sell is extremely enticing. IMO the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had, without question. Their beer is also good. The atmosphere is of a small, old-fashioned, country store. Absolutely love this place.

A specialty grocery store that sells just the right amount of meat and associated accoutrements. I literally had the best sandwich of my life after I bought some chorizo and sauerkraut here.

This place is CHEAP and serves delicious artisan sausages! I have been ridicoiucsly pleased both times visiting this joint! Everyday there is a different homemade sausage of the day and once they cut you a fresh piece, they offer you fresh sauerkraut, onions, ketchup, mustard, etc. Oh by the way. the potato salad and banana pudding is fantastic! I am drooling while writing this review! Great picnic bench outdoor seating. Spacing is a bit limited so claim your spot first!

Fresh and smoked sausage and charcuterie. Clean, simple, great beers, simple sandwiches. Friendly staff, interesting sausage varieties. A little pricy but worth the visit for a few pints and a sandwich under the picnic table umbrellas. Buy a few hunters sticks to go.

Home made jerky. So many flavors. I stock up every time on the way to DTW! I paid extra for baggage at the airport because I bought 20lbs of jerky. Worth every penny.

I LOVETHISPLACE! Great family owned store, randomly placed along the road near the Salvation Army and Produce Junction. I miss their meat sticks and pulled pork sammies. Wish I was still in Ann Arbor just to stop by for lunch. I brought various meats back to NOVA and they vacuumed sealed it all for me at not extra cost. Man… now as I write this review I’m craving one of their smoke sticks so bad!

I really have enjoyed everything about this place. I love going in and seeing what bacons, sausages, or jerky options are available that day. I’ve had a few that are really amazing. The lamb bratwurst is one of my favorites(I grill them up and serve them with Tzatziki sauce). The creativity excites me everytime I go in here. Now for the negatives(and why I can’t give it 5 stars). I really wish they’d use a natural casing on their sausages. The artificial casing falls apart when I cook it and lacks the«snap» that makes sausages so good. Only other thing I can say about Biercamp is I wish the location was slightly bigger. It can get pretty packed in there, and is difficult to browse.

$ 5.99 for the pulled pork sandwich, and $ 6.99 for the brisket. Both are pretty good, but if I had to choose one, I’d say the pulled pork was better. They have raw onions in the sandwiches that, in my opinion were refreshing, but then at the same time they would sometimes overpower the flavor of the barbecued goodness we call meat. Each were moist, each were decent. Portion is small, so for the price you pay, you could say this tends to fall to the pricier side. I’d probably have to eat two to get somewhat full. Sauces are tucked in the corner of the shop if you need it. Great service by the workers there. I might come back for a quick bite if I’m craving pulled pork.

The 16 hour pulled pork sandwich lives up to all the hype. A mix of succulent juicy fatty and crispy pork set off by homemade sweet brine pickles and onion atop fluffy buns. So good it makes you want to cry or laugh or both. Delirium in a bun. Okay at 7.99 you kinda expect chips and a drink to be involved here. But honestly I would come back again and again for that stupidly delicious sandwich. The joint they run is all about the high end customers who can afford their diverse range of artisanal meats. It’s not really catered around dine in customers. Case in point, the seating area is off to the side of the massive fridge displays. It’s a small bartop that runs the length of a window case with five stools underneath. Seriously. I guess during the warmer seasons they roll out picnic tables, but honestly it’s really a grab and go kinda place.

I’ve loved everything I’ve ever had from Biercamp. Great jerky. Great sausage. Also the best deal in town for a sandwich — pulled pork or whatever sausage is in the roller grill. I should go here for lunch more than I do. Great people, too.
