I just had a great experience shopping here. The employees are fast and courteous. The store is large, clean and well organized. It’s one of AA’s hidden gems!

Nice large Big Lots in Ann Arbor. Well organized and kept neatly(which I think is more the exception that the rule with BL). I like the prices here and most of the products here are pretty good quality. I had a coupon for 20% off over $ 25 which was nice. I picked up some things I needed for my new place and a few impulse buys as well. Nice discount store.

Great place to stock up your dorm room. Serious furniture department and lots of bedding and towels. Check out the food, especially the European items and the gluten free items. This Big Lots caters to the healthy and has prices way cheaper than at the health food store. Aisles are clean and well-kept. Understaffed deletes a star. It’s a puzzle to find it. It’s on the bit of road called Lohr, near the Meijer and the Joe’s Crab Shack, but in it’s own mini strip mall with Kohl’s, Dick’s, and Best Buy, Go early to have the store to yourself.

I will always enjoy stopping in to any Big Lots I come across. I am happy they placed a location nearer to the Ann Arbor Area. I enjoy shopping at the YPsi store more actually. They are a little braver about ordering unique, quirky treasures and the Ann Arbor store plays it a little to mainstream«safe» so it’s not as much fun to poke around for unusual items, but it is a nice spacious store and will always have the basic items for home, etc. that I tend to shop for at Big Lots.

I’m glad they are starting to open up branches on this side of town… while this was my first visit, I’ve been to the one in Ypsilanti and since it’s out of my way, it’s hard to swing by… now, it’s less then 5 minutes from the house… They offer everything from A to Z, so you’ll have to shop around to find what you are looking for… while browsing around, I did end up buying more stuff then I was planning to buy. The cashiers were friendly and very nice… went through the check-out in no time… Check it out if you are by.

Did you know this store opened up here on August 3rd?! Me neither! The store worked I ask said he gets at least one comment a day from people that say they didn’t know a Big Lots opened in this complex. I love hunting for unusual, discontinued grocery items, and a Big Lots is the perfect place. A little better than a dollar store, but some of the items you can buy here are better priced at a grocery store, with a coupon. The housewares are cheap and cheaply made. The Furniture is about the same, but sometimes I have to buy something for my house or an extended guest that I don’t intend on keeping and don’t want to spend too much on. This is the perfect place. Keep an open mind and don’t get carried away. You can find inspiration in some of the unusual food items :) Tip: $ 2.50 for a bag of name brand spatzel is best price ever! Not even on sale have I seen this price in regular grocery stores. But double check expiry dates. Happy hunting!
