A somewhat modestly sized bookstore with a more impressive selection than you might expect based on its size. Other reviewers have highlighted that the books appear carefully chosen, and I tend to agree. The owners are really nice and have been helpful when looking for certain items. Also, they have a lot of readings and other events, which make this place less of a store and more of a part of the community.
Oh, and it’s right next to Cardamom (excellent Indian restaurant) and within short walking distance of Seoul Street (excellent Korean street food restaurant), so that’s all the more reason to pop by.

Sweet people, sweet dog, sweet store! And it seems to have such a huge selection, from current releases, to oldies but goodies, to children’s favorites, and more! Stop by and see for yourself when you are in the area. It’s worth a stop!

What an independent, community bookstore should be.
thoughtful, well chosen selection. Every book has a reason for being here, not just because it’s on a best seller list. It’s like walking into the library of a well read, smart, eclectic friend. I was delighted to find a small, but equally well chosen selection of used books in the back.

This bookstore is great! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. For a small store, they offer a wide variety of books. Every time I have gone in there with a book in mind, I’ve found it, as well as several others that look interesting. This is the kind of place where you feel like you can really take your time looking through their selection.

Very well-curated selection of discounted /bargain books for adults, teens, and young kids. Most sections feel carefully handpicked — not too much, not too little, and plenty to discover. The children’s section is particularly impressive, and organized by age ranges from toddler to teens.
