Jess is the best! When I was having some issues with the comfort of my bike seat, Jess very thoroughly assessed and modified the fit, and also recommended some great new bike shorts. She also recommended some pedals that were really easy to clip in and out of, something I’d been wanting to do (but afraid of) for some time! I’m now more comfortable and faster on my bike, which is fantastic!
In addition to really knowing her stuff, Jess is really friendly and enthusiastic about biking and about what she does. Every time I’ve taken my bike in, I learn something new from her.
If you’re having issues with your bike fit/​bike comfort or buy a new bike and want to make sure it fits correctly, I’d definitely take it to Jess! I’ve had experiences with several local bike shops, and there’s nobody around that compares to Jessica.

Jessica did a great job getting my touring bike dialled in. She helped me place an order downstairs with Sic Transit for the correct parts for my bike. I could feel the difference on my first ride, and broke several of my long standing personal records which I set on my (lighter and faster) road bike.
Worth every penny! FitMi will be my first stop with every new bike.

It is well documented that Jessica is the most competent fit specialist in the region. I live in Ohio and traveled to Ann Arbor to see her with a new 29+ to be fitted. Neither of us knew going in whether she (or anyone) would have the setup to fit a 29+, but she was game. And, that’s the point. She was game! She knows her craft well, but what she also brings to the experience is her positive attitude, her warmth, her desire for you to be riding a bike that fits well. We made so many adjustments. I learned a lot. It was well worth the trip. She truly is the best!

I did not use the service but we did checkout the space, setup and picked her brain about what would be a good starter bike for each of us. Jessi is very knowledgeable and can fit anyone from beginner to advanced cyclist. Go see her, have a chat. She can help you with anything related to cycling. Beautiful space too. Plenty of parking.

Jess is a true pro; combining the art and science of achieving the perfect fit. Definitely much more comprehensive than any bike shop fit I’ve seen. She came highly recommended by knowledgeable cyclists and didn’t disappoint. Took me a couple of visits and trying a few things, but now I’m dialed in. Riding faster, farther, and with less effort. Plus she’s super cool and her fitting space is really comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommended!

I was experiencing knee pain while riding that would kick in pretty reliably around 30 miles, and get pretty severe as I went farther. I commute, do weekend rides around 30 – 60 miles, and occasionally tour.
Jess measured my dimensions, and did some voodoo with my cleat positions and put wedges in my shoes to make everything much more comfortable, including compensating for one of my legs being slightly longer than the other (which was news to me). She suggested some exercises to strengthen some muscles to help alleviate my pain as well.
Since our session, I’ve had no more knee pain. It feels great to push miles without worrying. Many thanks to Jess.

Jess is simply the best. It’s really that simple! When it comes to bike fits, Jess has an unmatched intuition that no amount of extra technology can top. Sure, she has all of the gadgets, but it’s her experience and instinct that makes her the best of the best! After Jess fit me on both of my bikes, I feel faster and more comfortable than ever before. And after going years without a proper bike fit, I literally can’t imagine going back.
