My first experience at Fustini’s was up north and was thrilled to find they opened a location closer to home in Ann Arbor. I’ve never seen a better selection of quality olive oils and vinegars. They allow you to mix flavors and taste as many as you’d like in little tasting cups, and their recommendations are always worth trying. It’s a good idea to be a little daring — you’ll be surprised what flavors will tantalize your palate!

This place is so good. So expensive, but so good. They have an amazing selection of olive oils. They have olive oils infused with all kinds of stuff. They have DIY samples as soon as you walk in. Well, technically DIY, but the place is usually empty so as soon as you walk in, an associate will come help you. They warm the olive oil in their hands before you sample it, so it’s the right temperature. The basalmic vinegar is SO good. It’s sweet and delicious. They also have pretty gift baskets.

Excellent quality oils and vinegars. You can sample them all as well! The store is airy, clean, and has a very upscale vibe. The staff were very nice and even helped us securely box up a bunch of oils we bought for our flight home. The prices are a little steep but totally fair, the quality of the products are well worth the price. Great place!

Love this Vinegar and Oil store. The staff is always nice and they have a nice variety of Oils and Vinegars. There are little tasting cups around the store so you can try any of them prior to buying. I LOVE the Chipotle OIive Oil and the 18 yr Balsamic is a good value. It’s sweet and you get a pretty decent sized bottle. They also give you a discount if you bring back the bottle to be refilled! I gave it four stars only because they don’t have a single Balsamic older than 18 years. If you are a true Vinegar and Oil fan then you know the value of a 50 year Balsamic. Good value for the dollar. Nice staff.

Yay, Fustini’s. Great product, great service, great store experience. Fustini’s carries a wide selection of flavored oils and vinegars. We’re talking blood orange vinegar, chipotle oil, white vinegar, porcini mushroom oil. You can taste any of them, and the people working in the store know their stuff, and will make combinations for you. Delicious. It makes me want to put oil and vinegar on everything – , pastas, fruits, roasted vegetables. I’ve also gotten a handful of these bottles as gifts. The only catch? It’s pricy. For the winter holidays they have smaller bottles(for $ 12), for the rest of the year they have larger bottles($ 15, about double the size of the smaller ones). So it’s an investment. My regret here is that I go in, I try 5 samples and want to buy them all, but I don’t feel like putting down $ 75 for giant bottles of oil that’ll go bad before I have a chance to use it all. I think buying one or two to have at home is doable, but I wish they had smaller bottles for those of us who want little amounts of lots of flavors.

Like Ben W said, the«sommelier» will blow your mind with possibilities and tasting notes. This guy really knows his stuff. I was leery of this place upon first glacé: it looked like the sort of frou-frou foodie place where«upwardly mobile» douches buy overpriced food staples. $ 16 for 375mL of flavored olive oil? Pass. Of course I still went in, and once I realized I could sample the various oils and vinegars, I was hooked. At first I felt a little bit like a jerk, sampling every single flavor that caught my eye. But it was encouraged! The gentleman working the floor started directing me to flavors I might like, based on my reaction to other flavors I sampled– he was spot on every time. When I mentioned that I wanted to use the«Better than Chocolate» balsamic I picked up in a mole sauce, he went the extra step of mixing it with a Tunisian Harissa oil that I liked– and BINGO! Tasted just like mole right there. He gave me some pointers on how I might go about marinating and cooking with that combo, and by the time he was done I was just itching to get back home to my grill to try it out. I’m absolutely blown away by the experience of shopping there. I felt like I was being attended to at all times– and not in that overbearing, I-work-on-commission way that creeps me out at Victoria’s Secret and all furniture stores. The sommelier’s enthusiasm for his products was palpable, and before long I was completely caught up in it. Noteworthy: Tunisian Harissa Olive Oil– sneaky creeping heat, fantastic flavor Better than Chocolate Vinegar– rich & dark, exceptional lingering flavor Ginger & Honey Vinegar– tasted just like pickled ginger Coconut Vinegar– amazing scent, would be great on shrimp Violet Vinegar– just the right hint of earthy floral Again, like Ben W said, I could happily stay here all day, comparing and pairing and tasting. Do yourself a favor and stop in, and make sure you talk to the sommelier for some great advice. Bonus: frequent buyer card stays in house so you don’t lose it or forget it!

I was quite impressed with Fustini’s. We wandered into the second-story shop after visiting the Ann Arbor farmer’s market and it immediately became the find of the day. Fustini’s is chain of stores spread across Michigan but you’d never know based on the service. The wide selection of crazy oils and vinegars is magnificent(pomegranate vinegar? Tuscan oil? Major win.) Prices per bottle range from about $ 9 to $ 18 and you’ll have a helluva time picking because the wine/vinegar sommelier(there is no better term) will blow your mind with the possible combinations. A must stop in A2 for all foodies. I could sit in the place tasting and comparing their vinegars all day. Go here, you won’t be disappointed.
