This is one of my favorite parks in my neighborhood. It’s a surprisingly huge park situated between Spring, Summit, Daniel and Sunset. Though the park has a lot of facilities to offer — tennis courts, basketball court, etc — what I like most is the sheer amount of green space. Apparently it was renovated in the 90s, and I have no memory of what it was like before that. The park is right on a big hill, which means that sitting at its top gives you a great view of Ann Arbor, day or night. It’s also fun(when I don’t wear slippery shoes… oops!) to run/quickly walk down with a canine companion. There’s so much space that even on busy days, you feel like you can stake out a little area all your own, but there’s enough activity that you could also people watch a bit if you felt like it. Apparently, there are public bathrooms here too, but not having used ‘em, I can’t really weigh in on that feature.
