Pros: Unique layout, a golf course in great shape, very nice people working in the pro shop, a challenging track and a very good value. Cons: Sub-par sand traps, very busy road running through the course, quite a hike from the Detroit suburbs. Huron Hills is the sister course to Leslie Park in Ann Arbor and both are quite incredible for municipal tracks. Although par is only 67 at Huron Hills, this course will test your entire game — long, tough par 3s and several elevated greens surrounded by bunkers. Bring your lob wedge because you’re going to need it.

32 dollars for 18 holes and cart. Short holes… but it got the job done. Nothing special about this course.

Walking 18 here was a bit of a challenge as I was gassed from those Huron Hills. Funny thing about this course is that while yea it’s short, there are some tough holes, especially long par 3’s. I don’t care about your handicap, hitting greens 220+ yards away, like pimpin, ain’t easy. Walked 18, paid $ 20 and shot an 89. I got my money’s worth.

This golf course could really take you out with the hills you have to climb. But what is great about this place is the twilight special. It’s super cheap and usually by that time you won’t have people riding on your tail and rushing you through. The course is not the best designed, especially if your used to Arnold Palmer courses. But if you wanna play cheap golf than this is the place for you.
