I drive a long way to go to this location even though there are closer ones. For whatever reason they always remember who I am, and what I do. And the subs are always consistent. Thats all I need from a sub joint. #9 add cucumber.

Only been to this location once, but the cashier was super friendly! He fist pumped me and another girl ahead of me and greeted us with, «(our names), I’m ____, nice to meet you.» After that he warned me to be safe while walking since it was dark out. The sandwich was good(Italian Midnight, no mayo, add on hot peppers) and came out quickly as usual. I would come back to this JJ just because the staff.

When they say freaky fast delivery they mean it… it actually freaked me out sometimes how fast they got to my apartment. My old roommates and I once timed the delivery from the moment we hung up on the phone after we put in the order to the moment the deliveryman knocked on the door… it was just under 5 minutes! The sub bread is inconsistent with either really fresh bread or stale and tasteless. The ingredients are sometimes thrown around(they make the subs so fast and deliver them so quickly that this does not surprise me), and the avocado and mayo isn’t always spread evenly. If you like Jimmy Johns you’ll really like this location because it pretty much taste the same as any other Jimmy Johns but they deliver quicker than any location I have ever experienced. I have never been inside the physical store so I can’t tell you anything about that. They take your order promptly on the phone and get you your food freaky fast so you can enjoy your sub. I don’t live in this area any more but it was my go to sandwich shop when I needed a quick fix in between study sessions.

Step one — realize that you are eating Jimmy John’s. It is a better version of subway that delivers. This JJ I order from all the time when I an in A2 for work. They always come absurdly fast(current record is sub 10m), the food quality is above par for a JJ, and the people have been pleasant. What else do you want?

Ordering from them is like talking to a brick wall. After 3 hours of waiting(within that time I got something else) I decided to call and see what the deal was. After being put on hold twice, I was hung up on. Awesome

Generally great quick sandwich restaurant. Don’t expect their«freaky fast» delivery any time on game day as they happen to be the only location in Ann Arbor which delivers. In any case, I’m satisfied with my order! Can’t go wrong with the slim one.

I’ve ordered from here abut 50 times and only once was I not satisfied with the food… Which the promptly replaced«freaky fast» I might add. The delivery drivers are always friendly. I have never been into the store so I cannot comment on that part of the business.

all but 2 times did I have an order messed up but the were great about replacing it. I love the whole grain sandwiches a welcome change from pizza. They are very fast with delivery. I recommend them as a healthier choice for take out.

Order: Delivery, Beach Club, Bag O Chips, Dr Pepper Pros: One star for speed(delivered in under 20 min during peak lunch!) One star for food: I get the beach club a lot and it is always tasty! One star for the delivery driver being super nice, and doing her best to resolve our issues(below) Cons: Minus half a star for forgetting my chips and a straw. Again. :( Minus half a star for telling me I owe them cash when I gave my credit card number over the phone. Minus half a star for them re-charging my credit card over the phone with the incorrect amount and having to run it for a THIRD time.(By all means, keep reading my credit card number out loud on the front porch for everyone to hear) Yet another half star down for telling me that they may come back later so I can sign the receipt. Seriously? By that point I wanted to torpedo the sandwich into the yard. But I was hungry and only my dog would have happily benefitted from that reaction. So I played it cool. It wasn’t the delivery driver’s fault. Anyway, JJ, I like you guys, and I’ll probably even give you another chance, but please don’t sacrifice quality for speed. I’d rather wait an extra 30 seconds for you to verify that everything is done correctly. 3/5=D–

The fastest sandwich you can buy. They’re always there for me.

I’m torn. I love Jimmy John’s. It’s probably one of my fave«fast food» options out there. The bread is a fluffy little rectangle of delight and totally makes the sammy for me. However this location? I can’t. The staff is super nice. I’ve never had a bad experience. But the location is a nightmare. I mean, I guess if you’re a student walking there from campus it’ll be alright but driving? Good luck. The parking lot is terrifying. You know that scene in Austin Powers where he’s trying to turn the little cart around in a narrow hallway? It’s like that. Trying not to hit the other cars in the lot, or the building, and only being able to move an inch at a time. And then you finally get out and you realize that the little alley you were hoping to escape from? It’s not an alley, it’s a driveway to a house behind the restaurant. A bridge to nowhere. So then you have to do your little escape routine all over again to get to the point where you can run away down Packard. Awful. If you’re on foot or not afraid to park on a side street and walk over there then it’s not too bad. Because, I mean, the staff is great and the sandwiches are pretty good. But to me, having to park a block away totally negates the«fast food» moniker if you just want to get in and out. If you’re like me then another location may be a better bet.

Okay, let’s be clear — I’m not giving Jimmy John’s 5 stars(it’s meat on bread, people); I’m giving THIS Jimmy John’s 5 stars. +They have never taken more than 15 minutes to deliver(seriously!) +They always immediately answer calls from my cell phone number by addressing me by name and confirming by address(I think most Jimmy Johns have this feature, but not all really use it so well) +They are generous with avo spread +Maybe I’m crazy, but the 8-inch subs seem bigger than at the State Street location? In conclusion: start your apartment search in this delivery area ;)

I’m pretty sure Jimmy John’s has saved my life at least once, and I’ve probably eaten here close to 80 times. Wow, putting that in writing makes me feel like I need to diversify. I also keep pretty weird hours sometimes, and it’s great have a place that will deliver at 3am. Good size subs that are consistently delicious and for some reason weirds me out less than Subway’s meats. Their giant cookies are also incredible and I think unfortunately overlooked. This is my go to place when I want something fast that I know I’ll enjoy, or I’m just really craving the taste of mayonnaise. It happens. Don’t judge me with your judging eyes.

I have ordered from this Jimmy John’s a few times. And I’d rate the sandwiches at 3~4 stars easily. But today I saw something that will make me think twice. A Jimmy John’s driver ran a red light(a full second after the light for my lane turned green) and then proceeded to drive at least 15 mph over the speed limit. Hmmm. I don’t want to support that type of behavior. So I am not sure if I’ll order from them again in the future. Fast delivery is one thing, but unsafe driving is a completely different matter. Minus one star for the driving infractions. I don’t need it *that* fast.

It was late at night and my blood sugar was at an all-time low. I desperately needed something to eat and decided on Jimmy John’s because they are always priding themselves on their fast delivery(and their white bread has got to have the highest glycemic index of any food product of our time or something). It took what felt like forever(actually 40 minutes) for them to make two standard sandwiches and for the delivery driver to drive like, 5 blocks. I probably should have just walked over and gotten take-out.

Unbelievable that this one franchise refuses to include napkins with delivery orders when requested. Also delivery times vary from 6 minutes(good) to 28 minutes. Not reliable like the other JJ’s. I’ve already complained to corporate. Management must go. Totally ignored complaints by coworkers and my complaints.

Minus 1 star because it’s located in Ann Arbor! Just kidding ;) My husband went to school at U of M so we’d come to JJ sometimes for some good sandwiches. JJ is awesome because: 1) Consistency 2) Quality of Food 3) Selection 4) Cheap 5) Fast Service For college students this is wonderful and they have late hours(comes in handy after the bar). For anyone it’s great because of all the reasons above. The bread is also very delicious… plus they give«free smells» :) You can’t go wrong with JJ!

I’ve never understood the appeal. The meat is thin, super processed slivers of tasteless protein, while the bread is whiter-than-white duck feeding fare. It’s Ironic that most Jimmy Johns restaurants have the neon«Free Smells» signs glued to their windows, as the food is positively scentless. I mean, suspiciously so. They really only deserve one star, but I offer them two since their food is decidedly inoffensive and friendly to the stomach. They also deliver, which is useful if you’re too drunk to drive or eat good food. Ordering is also fun, since the subs are given ridiculous, quasi-Italian names like«Vito» and«Pepe.»

I would agree with previous posters that there’s nothing INCREDIBLY about Jimmy John’s, and the hype doesn’t make a ton of sense. However, they do very speedily make a fairly tasty sandwich. And they’re conveniently located right next door to my house(so maybe I should rate it more highly to draw you over to visit me, but I’ll be truthful). I had a BLT sub this afternoon for lunch, and i enjoyed it. It didn’t have the standard problem of way too much or way too little bacon, so points for that. The people didn’t seem to think I was odd when I stared at the menu helplessly for a few minutes while trying to decide. I’ll definitely end up going back, and if you have to stop and grab a quick lunch, this isn’t a bad place to do it.

I am not a sandwich gal, but this one was really good. When you walk in the smell of fresh baked bread wafts through the air… you order and by the time you pay your sandwich is ready. I had the beach club and it was great! Be sure to ask them to cut your sandwich in half, as it is hard to manuver. Reasonably priced, clean bathroom… good experience. Great place for a tight lunch break!
