With a little digging and some friends who live in the area chiming in, I now know what’s up. It does seem that this location will be closing over the next few weeks… Sad for those who live in the area, this explains some of the oddity of my visit, it doesn’t really account for the odd smell.
Not looking forward to any more empty storefronts in town, but I’m happy to hear that all the employees have been offered jobs at other locations. Goodness knows the unemployment rate doens’t need to bump up anymore!
