I have lived here since August, and I have to say I have lived in better apartment communities. The staff has changed since I first signed my lease. The woman who was working there before was awful– maintenance requests took forever to fulfill and when they installed my new dryer the molding of the door was removed and she said that it will not be fixed. It was a very ugly sight in our kitchen for a few months. Thankfully there is a new man working the office, he is great and responds quickly to any concerns. The good: amenities are great– there is a pool, a tennis court, washer and dryer in every apartment. Cable is available in every bedroom, and the two bedroom apartments have two bedrooms. The location is awesome, there is a bus stop right outside the community. The bad: I have made a maintenance request every month since moving in. The washer and dryer were not working properly. I have experienced two overflowing plumbing issues(living on the bottom floor) where water has backed up and staring coming up out of the drains in the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink. The dishwasher broke last week, and now there is a leak coming from the living room windows. I have made more requests for maintenance here than any other apartment community– and we have only lived here for 4 months! Parking is an absolute nightmare– residents and guests are generally forced to park in handicapped spots or on the side of the community clubhouse because of the lack of parking. I have also noticed that renting prices have gone up since we have moved in as well. They are now charging over $ 1100+ for a one bedroom and $ 1200+ for a two bedroom apartment. When I signed my lease for a two bedroom the rates were set at $ 1199. The rates do not fluctuate per apartment as well– you can be paying the same rate as someone who is living on the top floor with a balcony but still be BELOW ground with no walk out patio. This is a ridiculously high rate for a sub-par community with so many maintenance issues. When we first moved in we definitely thought that we would resign the lease for another year, however given the high rates and endless headache of everything breaking in the apartment, we may look elsewhere.
