Not professional. They had a young girl who was a customer who was helping out asking to many personal questions. I will be soon taking my buisness elsewhere.

I LOVE this place. I mean the kind of love that whenever I come back to A2 it’s my first stop. Kitty does an awesome job and has you in and out. I’d encourage you to always call ahead because she doesn’t have any downtime. She’s THAT busy because she is THAT good.
Albeit the shop isn’t the fanciest and strangely laid out. Not sure how great I’d feel about using other services but for threading. boo-​yaaa

I go here because there is essentially no other place in Ann Arbor to get eyebrows threaded. Kitty does a decent job but she and her staff are so rude and unpleasant to be around. Every time I go Kitty literally yells at me that I need to stretch the skin below my eyebrows more and if I don’t she makes rude comments about how it’s «my loss if I don’t cooperate.» I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and I have never been yelled at and attacked by the threader until I went to this place.
She also seems to have a huge ego because she knows she’s the only semi decent threader in Ann Arbor but she’s really not that amazing, she’s just the only option in a small town like Ann Arbor. When I call to make appointments SHE herself answers the phone and then proceeds to talk in third person about herself saying things like «kitty is very busy she has a lot of customers» thinking that I don’t know it is her on the other end. And then every time she finishes threading my eyebrows she praises herself on how spectacular of a job she did. If you ask for something to be fixed she’ll tell you you’re wrong and she’s right.
Basically I go because I have no choice and I can’t stand to go more than three weeks without getting my eyebrows done but if I had the option of going to someone else I absolutely would in a heartbeat.

I was hoping that I would be lucky to find a great threading salon on my first try in AA. But alas, that didn’t happen. I have many issues with this place.
When I arrived at this place, a girl who was doing her nails told me that I would be helped shortly. So I took a seat. About 5 minutes later, when she was done, it turns out that she would be helping me for some of the my threading needs. Throughout the experience with girl #1, the strong smell of nail polish made me almost want to puke since it was literally right in my face. Additionally, she kept checking if she had nicked her polish. If she wasn’t checking her nail polish, she was answering her cell phone. This happened at least 5 times. Ridiculously unprofessional.
Moving onto to lady number #2, who I believe is the main eyebrow threader, may be a seasoned professional lacking an understanding of basic tools. She combed my eyebrows with a haircutter’s comb, not an eyebrow brush or a mascara-​like brush and proceeded to trim. She did a poor trim job. Additionally, she over plucked in the wrong areas. I noted that my eyebrows were uneven. In turn, she told me that she wanted to leave more to fix in the future. That’s fair, but my eyebrows shouldn’t have looked grossly unsymmetrical as they did. Furthermore, she didn’t ask me what kind of eyebrows I preferred. To make matter worse, they pulled on my forehead in ways that promoted odd shapes. I’ve been threading for over 10 years in multiple cities. I’ve had some hits and misses. And this is definitely a miss.
Lastly, hygiene is a problem. Never once did these ladies wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before working on my face. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. The search continues.

In my opinion, best place to get eyebrows threaded. Kitty (the main threader) takes her time and shapes your brow to your face. I would suggest making an appointment or at least calling ahead to see her availability before going. Be sure to be on time or early or you might have to wait. I’m obsessed with brows and I have never left Mansha’s unsatisfied. Only took off one star because she can be a little snarky (in a funny way) if she notices you are an over-​plucker, but it’s for the best.
