Its the Big House. Love this place. Come early so you can tailgate. Its one of the best places to be on a Sat. I was at the ND game under the lights. WOW outstanding. 115,109 people were here, hitting a New NCAA all time record. It was so cool to be part of this. I you only make it to one College sports event. Then this one is the one to do. If its not on your bucket list. You need to add it.

Where 9.5 yards is a first down. Strangely the basketball team is the least penalized in all of college basketball. Brady Hoke gobbles more wieners than Takeru Kobayashi and Joey Chestnut could ever dream of.

Of course I agree with everything Larry L says. But to add to that, going to the stadium, the Big House is an event that everyone should experience. The pride we have in our school is so fierce and so strong that our alumni return in droves every year to attend the games. It starts with tailgating somewhere on campus, maybe a frat house, your apartment, or maybe a parking lot. Nothing like a crisp, beautiful fall Football Saturday in Ann Arbor. The leaves are changing colors, the air is fresh, and the entire town is alive with school spirit. Then, comes the epic walk down State street, where every house has college students hanging off the balconies and playing beer pong. Music is blasting from every direction and it’s just Maize and Blue everywhere. I was lucky enough to attend the 2011 Michigan — OSU rivalry game, and watched the 132nd team beat OSU for the first time since 2003. There’s a certain excitement and buzzing in the air, it electrifies you. The crowd furiously chanting and screaming and waving their maize streamers. The screens are so big you can probably see them clearly from an airplane. The band proudly playing the fight song and leading the chants… And then… came the best part… when we won… the stadium just blew up! The players ran over to sing the Victors with the students, and suddenly… we are RUSHINGTHEFIELD! The adrenaline rush and excitement that I felt was completely unrivaled. There were people screaming, falling, surfing the crowd, and everyone, jumping, singing and dancing. Our football team had triumphed, the pride of our school restored. And yes it is Great to be a Michigan Wolverine!

The most storied franchise in all of college football. The most all time wins. The highest win percentage. Most winning seasons. Eleven national championships. Everything about this team is winning. Charlie Sheen was wrong, if he was so «winning» then he wouldn’t have tiger blood, he would have WOLVERINEBLOOD. The most distinctive fight song(Hail To The Victors!) and helmets(wing-tipped, so classy). Best sports rivalry(sorry State, you’re not really our rival) AND they play in the biggest college stadium. I’m originally from NYC and I have converted a number of my high school friends that went to state universities to Wolverine fans. They all agree with me, there is no other college football team to root for. Michigan gives you the legacy and the ACADEMICS(can’t say that for any SEC school, suckers). Simply, to sum it up… IT’S GREATTOBE… A MICHIGANWOLVERINE!!!
