«Meh» pretty much sums it up for me. It’s a Panda Express, so you can’t really expect much. The employees seem a bit out of it, but at least they aren’t unfriendly. The food is super greasy and not worth the amount you have to pay for it. It’s mostly edible though, and sometimes you just want greasy Americanized Chinese food.

OMG! All I can say is YUCK! In fact, double YUCK! Basically, just slop on your plate and I will never, ever, ever enter Panda Express again. I recommend that you do the same.

Solid place for Chinese food, especially if you are a student with an Mcard and blue bucks. The portions are pretty generous, and this is fast-food, so don’t always expect your food to be fresh when you don’t come at peak feeding hours. But if you get those cravings for some orange chicken like I do, boy oh boy, will this place hit the spot. Although they do NOT use any MSG(which is a pretty wild for a Chinese restaurant), don’t think that their food is necessarily healthy either. I usually go with the white rice for reduced calories and oil, and white rice tastes good to me. Yummmm. ALSO, they give out free samples, so feel free to try out that $ 1 extra for their shrimp dishes before buying it. Word out in the safari is that a McDonald’s will be taking over Panda’s spot next year, so enjoy it while you can!

I actually have to downgrade my score right now to 1 star… I don’t go into shock when I eat sesame, and for my particular situation quantity matters(If I ate a bunch of hummus I’d be in the hospital, but I am not so worried about cross contamination) …but still, here is why they are getting a downgrade. I asked on 3 separate occasions if the recipe for their string bean chicken contained any sesame oil, and every person said no. looked me in the eye and said no. One asked one of the cooks in front of me to verify. the chef said no. HOWEVER I wanted to make it at home, and found a recipe online posted by a former employee… and it has sesame oil listed as an ingredient. soo…I emailed their customer service and asked them directly if the recipe for their string bean chicken had any sesame in it… they gave me a spiel about cross contamination but would not answer my question directly other than to inform me that with this type of resturaunt some cross contamination is to be expected so I probably shouldn’t eat there. …like I don’t have enough problems avoiding sesame as it is… being a fan of Mediterranean food as well as asian. I asked employees and customer service reps(for a total of 5 tries) if their one recipe contained sesame(beyond cross contamination) and corporate won’t answer me directly. I also found half a peanut in my panda bowl that day… I’m not deathly allergic to peanuts, but sensitive to those, too… [edit] just to clarify, I did get customer service to reluctantly admit that the string bean chicken DOES contain sesame oil. Which is why I want to eat it so bad. Grr. Corporate BS and lies. Sad. they’re pretty lucky my allergy wasn’t severe, what with being repeatedly lied to about a very serious question.

It makes me sad to say that this place is my favorite Chinese in town. Mind you when I say Chinese, I mean«Beef and Broccoli». I’ve looked for a decent place to get Beef and Broccoli for a decent price and this is the only place that gets it right in both cases. I haven’t really tried much else, but everything has been delicious and tasty. Most of the other places on campus, that I’ve tried, are really bland or just gross.
