PALM stands for Pedal Across Lower Michigan. It is a bicycle ride my Granny has worked on since they started 27 years ago. She is now retired from the ride at the age of 91. It is a six day tour across Michigan every year in June. Focused on novice riders and for families (limit of 700 riders). Every day you ride your bike to a new city and camp out at a school ground. And every year the route is different. It is a good way to see a part of Michigan and do something healthy.
It is also inexpensive, to join it costs just over $ 100. I have done the tour quite a few times and it was fun. You’ll come back home with some tight legs and a tan.
