Sears came through in the end. The salesman was great, even though the first crew of delivery people were awful and left us with quite a mess instead of a nice new refrigerator. The second crew made it all right, and we only spent a few days with no fridge and food on the porch.

Hardly any employees to be found, takes a very long time to find one for assistance.
You have to walk throughout almost the whole store to find a check out with someone at it. And God forbid you take lands end merchandise to a normal check out. I’ve waited in line for 20+ minutes to be told to find the lands end check out.
Horrible management resulted in a constantly failing store. Combine this with the auto center, highly over priced electronics and marked up furniture and you’ve got all the markings of a corporation soon to collapse.
It’s also worth noting Sears and Kmart now sell the same things (like exact things for different prices) so you are getting Kmart quality at Sears pricings.
* note this is not about lands end. Lands end quality is the only reason I ever step foot in Sears. They really need to save that image and leave Sears for a stand alone store.
