For some reason the swirlberry in my hometown of West Bloomfield is just so much better. Here in AA, the service is pretty poor. I’ve taken the kids I babysit for a few times, and we’re always greeted very coldly. They also serve significantly smaller amounts than the WB store. They skimp on toppings too. Considering the price, you’d expect more. I’d go elsewhere but there aren’t too many healthy dessert options in AA. One note– the people who work in the mornings at the adjacent Zingermann’s Coffee are SO nice and friendly.

Le awesome. $ 3 froyo parfaits every Tuesday(normally $ 5.49), which are really giant cups of froyo interspersed with whatever toppings you want. Toppings available include mochi.

I guess this place is separate from plum market. Pomegranate and tart swirl is my flavor of the year(again… I’m a creature of habit). They can’t mess it up. Low cal. My preferred place to eat my feelings.

love the flavors and the topping and the fact that after shopping for groceries i can go to Swirlberry inside of Plum Market for a cool frozen treat. ask to try a sample and you might not know which one to pick… you may get them all. if you have kids and ask, they will happily split the 4oz cup into(2) 2oz cups with one free topping. you can also enjoy your treats while sitting outside at a table which is always a bonus on a nice day

Pretty good, but it doesn’t stack up to TCBY. I’m not saying that TCBY is the best thing ever, either, but it’s just that… ordinary. Four flavors(one of which was a very simple«yogurt flavor» that begs for toppings) and no hard-pack froyo. Quality of the frozen yogurt was good, but not great, and priced pretty high for what you get.

favorite yogurt in Ann Arbor so far, although it’s a bit pricey.

I almost want to get another cup because it is so good. But the 4 $ price tag for a 5oz cup plus 75 cents per topping is stopping me. Delicious and worth it. But only once. It’s expensive! And it’s not even self serve :( ps– free wireless!

I love the pomegranate frozen yogurt. What is really nice is that the Swirlberry I go to at Plum’s Market has created 12oz and 16oz pre-filled containers of frozen yogurt that has been placed in a small freezer close to the cash registers. So, I can pick up my favorite yogurt as I am waiting to pay. Just to let you know, the 12oz containers are $ 6.99 each and $ 9.99 for the 16oz.

The pomegranate-energy flavor was really good, but the limited selection of both flavors and toppings as well as the unhelpful employees that did not offer sample cups detracted from the positives. The 65 cents/oz rate is absolutely ridiculous and I hope a new place opens in ann arbor with a reasonable price and forces these other places to charge less.

So, I’ve yet to really get onto the tart frozen yogurt trend… but this Swirlberry opened up in Plum Market, I thought I would give it a try since I was in the area. I’ve been to yogobliss, and it was ok… but they really skimped on the toppings. This swirlberry added plenty of mochi and fruit to my tart/pomegranate swirl yogurt. It was yummy and the mochi was soft, which I really appreciated!(Unlike the State St. location, this spot has someone serving you.) However, it’s pretty expensive and I think I prefer real ice cream anyway… but I would come back if I was in the mood for something light and sweet.

After hearing about this place, I had to give it a try. Having been to Pinkberry, Yogurtland and all the other chains of Yogurt place in LA, I was excited to hear that we now have two places that serve frozen yogurt in Ann Arbor. Swirlberry is located in the same place as the coffee shot and unlike downtown Ann Arbor, its not self serve. You order the flavor and small or tall size. Original tart is set on a price, whereas the flavored ones will cost you dollar more. I sampled the original tart before placing the order… my favorite is the tart so I went with it. I asked for two fruit toppings for my tall order… my order along came out to around $ 6. The strawberry didn’t look fresh… I’m not sure if they put sugar in it or not, but it just did not look fresh. The person working behind the counter piled on four scoops of starwberry and mango. I guess since it wasn’t by the ounce, it was okay. I realized afterward that each topping is 75 cent extra. I heard the downtown Ann Arbor location is self-serve and is something like 65 cent an ounce(in LA, its 30 cent an ounce at Yogurtland). While I’m a fan of frozen yogurt, at the present rate and the offering of frozen yogurt in Ann Arbor, I prefer Yogobliss over Swirlberry. I’ll try the one in downtown Ann Arbor and see if there’s any diffference, however untl that happens and until new stores open up that serves frozen yogurt, Yogobliss will be my first choice. Now, like I said, I prefer frozen yogurt to be more tart. Others like it less tart… so it all comes down to personal taste and preference on the tartness in the yogurt. If you haven’t tried frozen yogurt, then you are mising out. go and give it a try. From health point of view, it doesn’t have lot of calroies.

There are only a few frozen yogurt places in MI… compared to other states. Swirlberry was yummy but a bit pricey(about $ 5+ a small cup with toppings). They also don’t have very many flavors. They only have 4 to chose from and about 6 – 10 toppings to chose from. This is very different than other yogurt places I’ve been to. Their tart yogurt is excellent! I will be back, and hope they have more flavors.

Dear Swirlberry, I will drive 3.5 hours(or an hour) for your addicting pomegranate + energy fro-yo topped with a generous amount of mochi. I have yet to stray from my favorite«swirl», but one day, I shall try the other flavors(particularly blueberry) with topped with all the colorful choices of fixins, such as pomegranate seeds. Even if it means that the money I’ll be shelling out by year’s end is equivalent to a year’s school tuition. Love, A Devoted Customer P. S.
