This is a great place to live. The apartments are clean, the maintenance team is *really* good, and the management is fine. The prices are high, but they’re not completely out-of-line, given the location right on the 5 bus line to campus. They do make you jump through a bunch of hoops to move in(background checks, talk to your employer, talk to your last landlord, etc), but I suppose that’s just a reality of modern life. It still felt a bit invasive, but it’s worth it. The apartment’s in good shape, and the maintenance team is incredible, such that maintenance issues mentioned on the website are usually addressed the next day. Also, the«Ponds», which is actually just one pond, is beautiful, with lots of great wildlife. I’m thrilled that they’re not trying to over-control the pond, and are happy to let the ducks and deer and other fuzzy creatures live happily. I’d recommend the Ponds to anybody, and it’s probably my favorite apartment complex I’ve lived in.
