They have everything you need and great prices! I love the fresh fruit options and salads as well as the fountain pop and Froyo!

This pharmacy is at a convenient location, and I fill my prescriptions here regularly. The employees are friendly and helpful. I appreciate their prompt service.

Didn’t have my medicine in stock – even though it was a renewal of a prescription I filed with them and filled a month ago. Of course the telephone renewal system didn’t tell me there was no point in going to the pharmacy expecting a full renewal. As usual, blamed on computer issues. Well they don’t program themselves now do they? Also the wait in line was long. Go elsewhere.

Ok. I didn’t buy anything and I really didn’t need to go into Walgreens, but as I walked past I felt somewhat pulled in to the building for a little looksee. Maybe it was the escalator. I’ve never been in a drugstore with a escalator. Anyway… the students of the University of MI have it made! Almost anything they would need from birth control to beer(not that I am condoning any particular behavior or say the two are related) can be found in this store. In addition, they have hairspray, laundry soap, two slushie machines, a couple coffee machines, sandwiches, fresh fruit, snacks, paper, pens, frozen dinners, and University of MI t-shirts. What else could you need??? This is a really great place to stop and shop if you are a students needing late night study snacks or an old person like me that just needs to stop and get a bottle of water because you are parched from walking around campus. Worth a stop!

This new Walgreens is clean and bright inside and they have a large variety of stock compared to CVS. However, the staff is pretty inexperienced and overall uphelpful. My biggest peeve about this Walgreens is that they do not run any of the specials and deals in the weekly ad listed under this location on the Walgreens website, and they don’t scan the Walgreens coupons either. Perhaps it is because they are new, but I don’t understand why this location wouldn’t adhere to the chain.

Walgreens has opened as a welcome alternative to the horrendous CVS on State Street. I briefly stopped by to check it out and was pleased by just how nice and helpful the staff are there. The selection is okay, but it seemed like most of the stock was only an item or two deep, so I wonder if they’ll frequently run out of things. So far, the best thing Walgreens has going for it is that it’s not CVS; but that’s a pretty low bar.
