Goody Goody Liquor

The people there are soooo friendly and the prices are amazing compared to all of the other liquor stores. We always stop by here and stock up on the way to our ranch in Oklahoma. Outstanding!

I just really love Goody Goody because regardless of what the name sounds like, it’s actually a really awesome liquor store. It has a variety of different liquors and they tend to carry things that you might not find at other stores.
I also love the staff here because they’re really helpful and if you ask for something they don’t have they will offer to special order it for you and give you a call when it arrives. That plus great prices makes them the liquor store for me!

They had the special Haitian rum I needed for a Vodou celebration and I got a chance to be Unilocal friends with the king on NOLA!

Let me begin by explaining that I am from New Orleans. In New Orleans there is no reason to go to a specialty liquor store. Every store sells all varieties of booze.
While in the area we decided we needed liquor, and Goody Goody was recommended to me. I must admit the name made it sound like a cheap hole in the wall, but I was pleasantly surprised. This place is very well stocked.
There is a huge selection of chilled beer including some excellent imports. Since I can’t get it in Louisiana, I opted for the Shined Black, which was great.
This store also has an excellent wine selection, but I wanted beer and booze, not wine.
Their scotch selection was vast and I could spend hours just staring and trying do decide what to get.
The employees were very friendly and helpful, and even though it was crowded (the day before Thanksgiving), there was no wait at the registers.
This is a great place and I will gladly return if I am in the area.
