What the fuck type of shit is up with the «were out of ice cream «fuck you bitch. Gimme my damn ice-​cream. Currently driving town to town for ice cream bc munchies. Fuck you sonic

We love our Route 44 drinks. We came through on the way back from a doctors appt. and stopped. The service is slow, the coke did not have a great taste, and the tots were cold. This has happened all three times we have been there.

Slowest and most understaffed Sonic. Many of the card machines on the Hwy 5 side of the building are out of service.

Everyone I go to this location my order is wrong or the stall I pull up to doesn’t work. It’s a hunt to find which one works. Waited on a kids ice cream cone for over 20 mins. Ended up getting out of the car going to the door asking for the cone. Counted 9 employees and 3 cars (which includes my car). Sad. I now get my sonic on Prosper before I head to Anna because of all the problems. If I’m already in Anna I end up going to another restaurant which is a shame.

I’ve been here 50 plus times and never had a problem with my order!!! So whoever is having problems you are probably just making it too complicated. Great food!

It’s sad really. Sometimes we have to stop in because a neighboring youth happen to get employment here or something, but honestly, it isn’t good at this location. We don’t drink soda, so every now and again we will get a frozen treat that even still comes out wrong. Not to be a negative person, but if you love Sonic, might want to go to another location. I tend to do re-​reviews often if I have bad service, so let me just reiterate, this review comes after a number of visits. Of and when we decide to give it a try again, I’ll update my review. Only of it needs revision. Here are some common issues:
Cold fries
Cold tots
Wrong size charge for dessert.
Wrong dessert
Time… Ticks… Slowly
Charge for everything… I wanted lite ice in my tea, so I got charged… WHAT?
Mayo instead of mustard
Bun that was soaked,
Raw corny dog… That was gross… That’s all I can think of at this moment!
Drive past it and go to Joe’s… I def have a review on that place!

This place has gone downhill since it opened years ago. Half the time the order is wrong, the other half it takes so long for the food to arrive that it’s cold, and no one like cold limp fries.
The staff here is terrible. The carhops are all rude and hateful, especially if you have an issue with the order. You might have well as insulted their grandmother. The management is apathetic at best. The only solutions they seem to have are platitudes and poker chips for free drinks. Perhaps the management’s hands are tied by the AWOL owner (s). The only reason this place has survived as long as it has is the amazing selection of drinks (when they can be bothered to listen and get those orders right) and the lack of other options in town.

Come for the desserts, not the food.
Maybe it’s just me, but every time I order food at this location, it tastes dry. The onion rings were dry, toast-​dry, salad=bland, and after numerous requests for ketchup, I still didn’t get any in my bag.
What keeps me coming back are the desserts. The cherry limeaids are just as good as the old fashioned drugstore kind. This summer they have numerous flavors of iced tea. I recommend trying the green mint tea! So good! Also, this summer they have half-​price malts after 8 pm! The ice cream is so good and fresh!
I’ve never been inside this location, so I cannot comment on the kitchen. The drive-​thru is usually clean. Sometimes you’ll see the stray hamburger wrapper, but the staff is quick to sweep it up.
But, like I said, everyone’s opinion of their food maybe different. Another reviewer may love their food, and never had a problem. This is just my opinion. But, I think everyone can agree, this place is perfect for hot summer nights when you want a good ice cream.
