I am very disappointed at this place. Despite of all the bad reviews, I wanted to stay positive and give it a try, considering that it’s few minutes from my house and inexpensive. I called two days ago to schedule an appointment for today, when I get to their place they didn’t have me on their schedule and did have a person to give me a massage. The guy at the front desk stated that she had a court hearing this morning. What a waist of time and afford! I should of know better, you always get for what you pay. Invest few extra dollars and go to a more reputable place. You won’t regret. You will if you give this place a try, like u did :(

WARNING! Do not go here! I went here the other day after not going for about a year due to pregnancy. The Mongolian girl that gave me my «massage» literally just rubbed her hands on my arms and legs. No massaging of the muscles or knots. When I very nicely told her she could massage harder, she purposely was trying to hurt me. She grabbed every ounce of fat on my body and squeezed it as hard as she could. When I went down to tell the man whom I paid. I told him what she had done and she should get some sort of training and that I probably won’t come back all he said was oh sorry. No… I’m so sorry is there anything I can do to make it up to you or let me refund your money or even refund me my tip that they made me give before my massage!!! AGAIN I CANTSTRESSHOWMUCHTHISPLACESUCKS! Don’t go here if ur looking to get a massage!

I love myself a GOOD bargain. Cao Dung day spa is the place to go for a good massage without hurting your pocket. MAYBE i’m being a little biased because I work in the industry, I really appreciate their hard work and always tip them at least $ 15 or more. I never had a bad experience here. Every girl who have ever given me a massage was very pleasent.

Cheap… only $ 39 for 1 hr massage but massage was not good. Basically lightly rub oil on you. There was no rhythm or pressure. Rub lotion on yourself and save it money!

I have sent a few friends who have come back saying that they really enjoyed the whole experience. You can’t beat the price!

I tried out their $ 39 deal. I liked how they call you before the appointment to confirm but despite making it there on time, I was waiting for 10 – 15 minutes in the room for my massage to start, and when the lady came in she seemed surprised to find me there. Foot massage was lack luster and I had a hard time communicating with her. She was also on the phone for 10 minutes while massaging my head. Really? And I find it weird how they soak your feet in a container lined with a plastic bag. I asked the lady to skip massaging the rest of my body and to concentrate on my back(I also requested that she use more pressure) which was actually really good. I was not expecting a hot towel being thrown on my back at the end; a warning would’ve been nice. If this had been done the whole hour, it would’ve been worth the $ 39.

Went in for the $ 39⁄1 hour massage and dropeed in. I walked in and announced that I wanted the 1 hour massage — the lady, who spoke no English at all, scooted me upstairs and to a room and closed the divider. No word exchange — where is the robe? What kind of massage … — she opened the divider, no warning, and I stood there. I asked for a robe and she pointed to a basket. I robed myself and she proceeded with the massage. She put some ointment on her hands and started with my face(would be nice to know what lotion she was using …). All in all, I would not call this a massage, this is more of a touch and go through the motions. I indicated I had a knot on my hamstring and she didn’t know how to work it. Also, there is sudden hitting every so often, which broke my peacuful state I was trying to get to. It was all unexpected. I tipped and told the lady at the cashier that people should be given a little intro so they know what to expect. I have friends who LOVE this place, but I personally prefer to pay a little more for massages that work my muscles, not a touch and go inexpensive(and unenjoybale) process.

Hate to give this update, but I have to… This will no longer be my massage place of choice after sending several friends there and telling my fellow Unilocalers about it. I scheduled a 90 minute massage here today and was quoted a price of $ 50. At first I thought«wow» this place keeps getting better. Not the case. I went in for my 90 minute massage which was supposed to start at 12:30, it didn’t. It started more like 12:45. So, I went with it thinking they would probably work on me until 2:15. That was not the case, I was out of there at 2:00 sharp. But it gets better, I was charged $ 60 for the massage, not the quoted price. I tipped the masseuse generously as well. But why charge me $ 60 when you quoted $ 50? I spoke with the manager about this and he said too bad. I said too bad as well, I would be making an adjustment to my credit card and would tell my friends about this fiasco. I would’ve went for the 60 minute for $ 39 if it was $ 60 for a ninety minute and all I got was a eighty minute. I was also disappointed as the 80 minute massage I received wasn’t as good as the 60 minute I had before… Shady…

Wow! I read Jon K’s review as the«Review of the Day» and just had to check this out!(After cackling to myself at the name of this place! Get it?! Hahaha!) I was sitting at home kinda bored on my day off, my body was sore as hell from training for a race, and the $ 39 deal caught my fancy. Worth every penny! The people who run this place are super friendly– I was running late because I got lost, they called me to see if I was OK, and they were really understanding in giving directions. Cao Dung is a no frills massage place, fairly typical of the places that I would run into in Manhattan. Clean, tidy, but not fancy. The massage space is in a private room upstairs. They played ‘80s music and the lady barely spoke any English. Ay-ok with me since I wasn’t in the mood to talk. The hour went by so quickly, but I will definitely be back! :) They offer other services and packages, but I’m really only interested in the $ 39 reflexology massage + foot soak. I would have liked a «deeper» massage but this was satisfactory for the price.

Amazing! I almost don’t want to write a review because this place is a hidden gem. A knotted right shoulder sent me on a hunt for a last minute massage. A full body here is $ 39/hour– it was worth every penny and more. They use a reflexology approach, so just to note, it’s a little different from a standard Swedish massage, but not that much. They got all the knots out and I felt so much better after. I think their official hours are 10AM — 7PM, but when I called they said they close at 9PM and I was able to make an appointment for 7:30PM. There’s no shower, sauna, or steam room, but for the price, I’ll give that up. They also don’t speak a lot of English but I didn’t find that to be a barrier. They have packages for a mani/pedi and 1 hr massage for $ 65, and a facial and massage for something like $ 80. I am definitely going back for one of those in the future. Didn’t realize until I saw it posted, but it looks like they have a location in Falls Church, too, though that one doesn’t have the same sparkling reviews.

I Read Jon K’s review and I have to agree, it was an above average massage. I’ve been to several places in the Arlington area. After reading Jon’s review, I was expecting a deeper/rougher massage. I’d say that’s my only disappointment, otherwise it was very good. I will most likely go back.
