Love that they open pretty late and that it’s pretty easy to find. Their drinks aren’t bad– a bit overpriced, but they give you a piece of delectable cake which is a nice touch. I wouldn’t recommend their bigger cakes since there isn’t much of a selection, but I do recommend this place for a quiet place to catch up with friends.

Not a bad spot for hanging out with friends and catching up. That’s exactly what I came here to do. I ordered an Iced Café Americano with Cream and simple syrup. It’s not bad. I like how they served it in a cool mason jar. My coffee also came with a little mini cake. Our group also ordered a birthday cake. Cake was nice and light. Not overwhelming at all. The cake also went well with the coffee. It’s a nice little spot if you don’t mind house made coffee. Meaning, you’re not picky with the coffee and don’t want something customized like at Starbucks.

I love the ambiance, it is very relaxing, but it seems more … romantic for a lone soul like me haha. The inside is beautiful. They have quite the collection of wine. I will comment about their food, not dessert. Their sandwich was delicious. I think it was either turkey or chicken. But the best part? Their chips that came with it. There is something about the chips that gives it a very distinct taste that I like. The set up of their food is very appealing as well which accentuates the taste of the food for me.

A little gem in Annandale! It could use some cosmetic help on the outside, but on the inside it is beautiful. The food, service, décor and ambience are excellent. Definitely a new Saturday morning hangout spot!

My review is for their dessert only. I came in due to a recommendation from a friend and ordered the red bean shaved ice. When it came out, I was surprised to find the portion size to be worth the almost $ 9 I was originally skeptical of paying. It was artistic to look at with the fruit decorated on top, layered in condensed milk, but not drenched in sweetness. Under the ice was the red bean, which was slightly sweetened and expertly boiled so the full flavor of the beans was present. I was very satisfied with the dessert. My friend also ordered a green tea latte and it came with a tiny piece of cake, which was also fantastic. Very much recommend coming in for dessert.

Bakery? Not quiet. Restaurant? Maybe… so then what is it? I am not sure. This place started as a luxury version of shilla bakery at first but now they serve bunch of food, wine, and desserts. Their pasta menu is decent and it comes with a small salad, bread, pickles, and jalapeños. This time I had the Vietnamese wrap. It came on a big platter with variety of veggies, fruits, shrimp, and rice noodles. They give you a big bowl of hot water where you can dip your rice paper. They refilled the rice paper for us as well. It was more than good enough for 2 people. It comes with 3 types of sauces as well. I never really like their bingsoo here though… the service here was pretty attentive as well. ill be back to try more of their entrée options.

This is a really cute little café, and a great place to take dates. They have a huge menu with everything from full meals to desserts to coffee. I usually come here after I’ve already had dinner, as it’s a great place to hang out and indulge your sweet tooth. I ordered an iced coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised at the presentation. The coffee itself came in a mason jar cup, and they included a small piece of cheesecake, which I did not expect. Definitely expect to go back here at some point!

Best dish: I come here for their seafood cream pasta. It’s unique from any other pasta eatery because of its korean twist. I can’t quite explain why the cream pasta tastes korean, but the sauce is light and the noodles are flat and 1 cm in width. Ambiance: Dolce is very bright with lots of natural lighting. The layout is open yet the seating gives privacy. The facility is clean. Service: Order take out at the counter. Otherwise, seat yourself for full service. Waiters are generally polite and don’t bother you too often. They come by once maybe twice to check on you.

About a 2.5: My husband and I stopped by here after dinner in the area. We’ve always passed by Dolce but never had stopped by to check it out. When we walked in, the café itself was very dim-lit. There were groups of people dining in, either for coffee or for some entrees. One of the employees greeted right away, and I requested for a ‘To Go’ menu(which was the same as the sit down one); they had offering of beverages such as tea, smoothies, and coffees(each close to $ 6!!!); desserts such as cakes and mousse; as well as wraps and salads. I had their Gogoomah cake, which is the Korean sweet potato cake to go. One slice was about $ 6, so it was definitely on the pricier side. The cake itself was kept cold, and the filling was nice and moist, and had great potato flavor. However, I was not a fan of the topping as it seemed like stale bread crumbs. There were also some berries on top, a nice added touch. I was surprised when the dessert was put into a Shilla Bakery bag, and when I inquired about that, the guy said that Dolce is owned by the same owner as Shilla — didn’t know that! I would like to go back and try out their bing soos as well as their lattes and teas. +sister companies with Shilla

Although I love their lattes and cute mini mousse desserts and cheesecake, it’s the FOOD here that really wins me over! The Mango Chicken Salad is delicious. Ripe juicy mangoes, well-seasoned grilled chicken, and the yummiest melt-in-your mouth garlic toast on the side.(I save the garlic toast for last because it’s the best. freaking. part). Generously portioned and nicely presented *see pic.* The Bulgogi Kimbap is great to share as an appetizer. I’m impressed by the lean moist bulgogi meat, and how much of it there is. Little rice, lots of sweet bulgogi, egg, and veggies. And they even have decent ramen! The Miso Ramen broth may taste light to those who love rich and hearty broths. But I still found the soup to be quite tasty, more so than I’ve found with ramen at some sushi establishments. Thick and chewy noodles, pork, boiled egg, spinach and bean sprouts. I’ll take it for $ 8! The yummy desserts(seriously, try the cheesecake!) coffee, teas, and wine are just an added bonus to the simple but satisfying lunch and dinner options you can get here at a reasonable price!

Nice atmosphere. It reminds me of an upscale version of Shilla or Breeze Bakery. Came here for desserts with friends. My friends had fruit bing soo for the first time and wished there was more mochi and less ice. I had their Vanilla Latte and it was good but nothing special. I was hoping for a nice Latte art when I received my cup but it looked like a blob. It came with a side of a small piece of cake. When we went there was only one server I believed. We had to hunt her down for the bill. The waitress really didn’t check on our table. I would come back to give this place another chance. It’s possible it was just an off night. Plus I want to try other items on the menu.

Wow, wow, WOW! The green tea latte is magical and tastes liked melted green tea ice cream! It comes with a little strawberry cake, too! The green tea mousse cake was good but nothing too special. The staff guy is very sweet, kind, and considerate. We will be back for more green tea!

The atmosphere and ambiance is nice as other reviewers have mentioned. However, I do think this place is overpriced. My citron tea was $ 5.25(not including tax or tip!). I find that price pretty steep compared to other places like Shilla. Service was okay, the waiter did not come around much and I had to walk up to the counter to ask for the check b/c no one came by and my gfs were tired of waiting. I’m not sure if I would be back when Shilla and Breeze are just down the street.

Nice ambiance and polite servers. My girlfriends and I came here for tea and didn’t have any complaints. One of my friends ordered chai tea and it came with a very small and cute cube of cake. Too bad the honey citron tea doesn’t come with one. It took some time to flag down a server for our check. We didn’t try any of the food but I’ve heard good things about them. will check it out next time!

I really like this place :) When I came here we got the tuna kimbap, ramen, katsu, and crabcake on portabello mushroom with pesto sauce. It was delicious. I think they have the best kimbap in Annandale. The katsu and crabcake was so good!!! Ramen is about average. The second time I came here I got the chicken alfredo pasta. It’s super yummy and pretty big portion. I also got the vanilla latte for dessert. Although their desserts can be on the pricy side, it comes with a cute mini cube of cake ;) Presentation is really nice. This is a good date spot.

Good date or chatting with friends spot in Annandale. The atmosphere is much nicer than most of the spots around and they even have wine and beer. Downside is no pastries like shilla or café breeze. But the shaved ice has this condensed milk in it that makes it almost creamy and delicious. The wine was weird where you buy a rechargeable card and can have your own tastings, but the servers there explained it really poorly. Also, on the negative side everything is really expensive like 5 dollars plus for every coffee drink. The food selection was extensive and not as expensive as the coffee or bingsoo. Overall, a good alternative to the other bakeries on occasion if you still have room after eating Korean food.

A great place for a date or for somewhere to sit down with a coffee and chat for a long time. The atmosphere’s pretty fancy – rich colors and canvas paintings at the window and huge mosaic-like painting(which needs some overhead lamps to focus your attention to it) at the far back wall. My sister and I sat down for a leisurely meal – she had ramen(nice and hot and carefully prepared) and I had spaghetti(I was worried it’d be Asian-sweet – not so. Very good). The service was very attentive, but not hovering, which I loved. They are really good about giving you your space and time! We finished off with an order of green tea ice cream. I thought I was ordering a cup for the two of us, but no – we got a HONKIN’ huge PLATTER of green tea ice cream. Like an entrée’s-worth(with the price to go with it). It was decadent and delicious, albeit unexpected. One thing they need to improve is accessibility of whatever the wine wall is at the back. I have no idea how to function those bottles or how to dispense wine from there(if you do at all) or anything. They should have some kind of big sign inviting you try their wine wall and explain how to serve yourself(or however it works) there. They push the«wine bar» on their business card, so they should push it when you walk in, is my thought. Anyway a nice little place to slow down and treat yourself!

Dolce is a great place to hang out. It’s always busy for a good reason. They offer a large menu of sweet, savory, and wine-y(?) items so it’s a great place to bring people with different tastes. I’ve tried a lot on their menu, everything is decently priced and consistently«not bad». What is great though is their donkatsu curry bowl — that’s my go-to item now. Crunchy panko topping, tender chicken, immersed in flavorful curry over fluffy rice. Delicious. If you order coffee it comes with a cute little bite of cake. Also try their mango mousse. I love bingsu, but I think Dolce’s baked goods are divine.

We really like the fact that you can get real food here and not just dessert and drinks. Very comfortable and quiet place to just relax and chit-chat with friends. Makes for a good meeting place when you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of a busy bakery.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday. It’s my first time coming here for food, I usually just come for the cakes and coffee. I tried the donkatsu rice bowl(can’t remember the exact name) It looked pretty small but it was very filling. The rice is topped off with an egg and onions always with the donkatsu. It was a pretty good lunch. You get pickles, yellow radish, and jalepenos on the side. The service was a little slow though. But everything else was good.
