Paisano’s Pizza

Paisanos has never delivered a wrong order to us and we added a special delivery request tonight. Driver please knock on the door with rhythm. Special request was granted. What fun it was to hear the knock hahaha.
Buffalo chicken salad is delicious. My only request next time is to ask that they cut up the onions otherwise yumm. Husband had the calzone, pepperoni with extra cheese and bacon.

Ordered delivery. The delivery guy was very nice. Order was Large cheese pizza & hot wings. The pizza was definitely below average. The lone bright spot were the hot wings. I thought they were great. Definitely not microwaved.

We ordered from here three times, pizza and pasta on different occasions along with a salad on the pasta try. Good god this stuff was nasty. Chef Boyardee would have been far better. $ 40 bucks in pasta went into the trash after only a few bites on the last order. Common folks — make a bloody effort! Then again, don’t bother we wont be returning to this dumpster diving experience.

We order from this location about once a week so naturally I was disappointed when our order arrived and the pizza looked like it was dropped on its side and portions of our order we’re not there. A call to the manager, Christine, was in order and was absolutely impressed. It was great to have somebody in today’s society that cares about customer service and she went above and beyond!

Was excited to have a new pizza/​pasta place in Annandale, so we ordered in lunch for the family. However, I doubt I’ll order from them again. Web site ordering would have been ok, but no way to enter coupon codes from the flyer, so I had to call them. Ordering over the phone was easy enough. Food arrived fairly quickly, and was nice and hot. First the good. Garlic knots are awesome. Spaghetti was also good, tho the garlic bread was dry, and bland. Pizza is OK at best. Nothing special, and skimpy on the toppings. Stromboli is big, but mostly bread. Also skimpy with the meats. Price was to high for what we got. Big Bite is a much better deal, and actually better food.

This isn’t very good pizza. No dough too to the edge of the pizza is not good for me. The crust was stale and the medium looks more small than anything. I’d have been better off with a frozen variety.

Since it opened in Annandale this has become our go-​to place for delivery pizza. I’m not sure exactly what their secret is, but they are head and shoulders better than all the other local joints. (To say nothing of the big chains.)
I’d say that Paisano’s is a sort of «medium crust» pizza. It’s not attempting to be NY Style thin crust, in the same way that Flippin Pizza is, but it’s not one of the thicker rimmed-​pan varieties either. It has a nice crust without being too bready.
The house salad with Italian dressing is great, as are the garlic knots. If you want something nontraditional, try the Cheeseburger or the Greek Pizza. The standards are good too.
Once or twice we’ve gotten calzones, and they’re good if you don’t want a pizza, although pizza is definitely the main event.
Delivery has always been quick and they get bonus points for their solid online-​ordering system.

We order from them regularly and are now pretty disappointed. Twice now «corporate» has cheapened the product. The first time was adding fries to a sub for $ 1. Now «corporate» makes them weigh the fries and the amount is so small it’s ridiculous! You get more fries with the McD’s $ 1 menu! The second time — this one was egregious — the gyro no longer comes with the home made yogurt sauce even though the menu still says it does. Now it comes with this nasty mayo like sauce on it making the gyro inedible. We called and complained — they said there’s no mayo in it but it’s no longer made in house. The new product is sour cream and yogurt — but the stuff is seriously nasty. Both times, when we complained we were told since the change from corporate, they’ve been receiving a lot of complaints. I feel like they should have warned us when we placed our order. I hope to God that corporate doesn’t feel the need to cheapen up any more of their products — or I’m sure their business will go downhill fast.

I’ve ordered from here about half a dozen times since moving to Annandale, but I don’t think I would again.
Last night, I ordered online and opted to pay the additional cost for a side of garlic sauce, even making a note «garlic sauce x2 please.» Upon receiving the order I found that they hadn’t even included one! Super annoying, since I had paid extra for it and because the pizza just isn’t really the same for me, without it.
This is not the first time that this has happened here, so the next time I go to order a pizza I will definitely opt for somewhere else, like Papa John’s, where I actually receive what I paid for. Paisano’s pizza is good, but pretty much comparable to any other pizza place.

Super fast delivery. Like 15 mins even though they said 40 mins. Although the delivery guy wasn’t so friendly. I ordered a large pizza and hot wings. The wings were fried with the hot sauce on the side which was weird but the wings were tasty. The pizza was good but not good reheated. I’m between 3 and 4 stars. He fast delivery gave them an extra star. I would order again and try other things.
Oh and ordering for delivery is super fast if you are a return customer. Very efficient.

Pizza outstanding; Chicken Caesar Salad a winner, especially with the homemade dressing.
Tiramisu & Cannoli are a Can Not Resist repeat! Have to try the Gelato next time…

These people are fast, friendly, accurate, reasonably priced and most importantly — delicious. We order from them to our office at least 1 – 2 times a week. They know us by heart, know our preferences, and don’t complain when we have 40 000 separate credit card orders and then some cash on top of it.
Today I had their gelato for the first time and it was molto bene in my stomach. I sort of feel bad for trying it because it was absolutely delicious and well… I kind of want it all the time now I think and that it no good for my wallet of my attempt to stay reasonably healthy.
Definitely order from these peeps for a bueno notte.

I order from here OFTEN. They have great prices, super fast delivery, and are ALWAYS very pleasant. There’s one guy who always answers the phone and he is so, so, so polite.
I have ordered both carry out and delivery from here, either way, food is ready quick and served hot. Their steak and cheese is amazing (I usually get the deal for two subs, with two fries, and two cans of soda for me and my husband because it comes out cheaper that way). Their gyro platter is also really tasty.
The delivery people are always very pleasant and smiling when you open the door. I absolutely love this place. It is a great local take out /​delivery place!

Quite honestly, the best delivery pizza I’ve found around Annandale. Only complaint I’d have is that they have a self-​contained online ordering system and aren’t on any takeout apps, but the delivery was quick and everything was tasty.

We ordered piazza and salads from Paisano’s last Saturday 4÷20÷2013 for our post Cleanup Day lunch at my condominium. I had tried calling Big Papa’s after reading good reviews but they put me on hold and never picked up. Paisano’s had great phone manners, fast delivery, good pizza and delicious, huge Greek salads. Would definitely order again and recommend to friends.

Paisano’s is nothing to write home to Mom about. Hardly any seating. I think it’s funny that you can see all their cans of tomato sauce from outside through the window. Do you really want stuff from a can on your pizza? What is this, Little Caesars? But it costs a lot more than Little Caesars, and I can get a fresh-​ingredient pizza at Casa D’Mama for a lower price. I did see Paisano’s in a «yelp ad,» so I assume that Unilocal will filter my 2-​star review since Paisano’s paid Unilocal it’s «protection money».

This place is pretty good. They worker approached me before I picked un my to go order and asked if he can give me anything else. I asked for condiments and he threw in more then enough and a bunch of mariner sauce which was nice they aren’t stingy on there stuff. The fries were great my family loved them they were smothered in cheese and bacon and we dipped them in there white sauce. And e toppings they weren’t stingy on at all. The gyros were fully packed, the strombolies were fully packed and tasted good. The meatballs and spaghetti were cooked perfectly which some places mess up. The onions rings were crispy but plain not really any flavor but they were crispy by the times got home. We will come again. I gave it a 5 because they over exceeded my expectations and everything was made fresh and the family liked it

Ordered take out tonight — garden salad, cheese pizza for my little one, pepperoni calzone for the teen and custom three filling calzone for me. Food was good (despite teen’s belly ache from her calzone — was a little heavy on the ricotta) and people working there were really nice. I had no issues in placing an order, which in Annandale happens more often than not. May try other subs there, but if i’m just ordering pizza, I still
prefer the pizza across the street at Casa de Mama’s.

My first delivery order from this pizzeria was pretty good. I tried the garlic knots, gyro and strawberry sorbet gelato — I was not dissappointed. I was surprised to see that they would also deliver beer if ordered. I would definitely order from here again.

Pure crap. Ordered a steak and cheese platter and a salad. Awful, nasty what a waste of $ 16. Substandard ingredients I would steer away from this place.
