Pocha! Just what Annandale needed. The seating here are pretty limited so waiting is to be expected. Few things… you can smoke here. Which is not good for non smokers because theres no ventilation… it is basically a tent. The chair isnt the most comfortable thing to sit on and the table is the worst. They are one of those tables that have holes in them so if you are eating food, you drop stuff all over your pants lol. Going to the bathroom is pretty awkward since it is shared with patrons at palace. The free spicy rice cake was good except that rice cake was a little undercooked. I enjoyed their honey makkoli and the sesame leaf mojito as well even though it sounds weird. As for food, we had seafood pancake which was okay and spicy stirfy dish which was meh. I can see this place improving more and definitely will be back again for some casual drinking :)

This Korea-style pocha offers a great vibe and good music(different themes every night). The food came out within a reasonable time and was hot and delicious. The servers were polite and attentive. Will be back again soon!

If i can give no star I would. First off this place the food is horrible. Being next to resturant ‘Palace’, food here taste like leftover from the buffet they had a day ago. Honey beer/soju was pretty bad and especially the mojito soju was discusting… I just went there for mood and even customer service was bad. Person calls himself the owner of this place should be more mature and also shouldn’t have your girlfriend bartending there if owner can’t keep his feelings inside lol. One of my friends was hitting on the bartender there and the owner couldn’t handle the situation professionally. Don’t ever try this place unless all your doing is drinking Because food sucks/over price/bad customer service.

New Korean style outdoor bar/pub or street stall has opened right outside of Palace restaurant! A restaurant within a restaurant, Byul Bam Pocha which translates to Starry Night Pocha is a take on outdoor drinking establishments found in Korea with its own food/drink menu apart from its main restaurant next door. I absolutely love the concept, Korean bar food items, soju/beer/makgeolli options and vibe this tented watering hole offers and it really transports you to the streets of Seoul where one can drink their tail off late at night surrounded by good company and scenery(aka hot Korean girls) Great service, awesome food/drinks and a fun place to hang out! Be forewarned that this place has already become a hit since it opened a few weeks ago with huge wait times on weekends — but they offer to call you when your table is ready. In any case this is quickly becoming the new favorite Korean bar in Annandale so check it out!
