Nice family run deli in the basement of the medical office building across from Fairfax INOVA. The place was nice and clean and the staff was very kind and attentive. They had an interestingly wide variety of breakfast and lunch offerings all made to order. Good hot coffee and a full array of breakfast offerings. I especially appreciated the contemporary Christian radio station they had playing as background music. It was just the right place to visit after breaking my pre-procedure fast. Hit the spot. The ham and cheese omelette was prepared in a rather unconventional way microwaved in the oven. But that cut down on the grease normally used on grills. My doctor would like that. I’d go back and eat breakfast there again. I’d like to try their designer signature Wasabi sandwich.

Stopped by here today because I was in the area. As soon as I stepped inside, a smell that I could not described hit me! It was like nothing I have smelt before and I was starting to get sick from it! I don’t know how the other customers could either eat in there, or get take out with that smell in there?! Will not be going here again, and it’s a shame that they did nothing about the smell before more customers start to go in there for their meals. There are better places around that you can grab your breakfast and lunch from. Stay away for your own health!
