I just got home from my first visit to Bark and Bean. I want to post a picture of Remy, but not sure how to do it here. She’s so cute with her little bows! Sara did it, thank you Sara! Remy and I will be back! She had one little tangle behind her ear. I can easily cut it out.

First time here and got my Cairn terrier groomed. A lot of places mistake her as a Westie and give her the wrong cut. But Christine did an excellent job and I felt like she knew how I needed her groomed! I will definitely be going back! The only downside was I was really looking forward to the café that is now closed until an unknown time.

I like Bark n Bean because of the self-​wash option. I don’t trust anyone else to groom my dog and I prefer to do it myself. However the place is pretty filthy and smelly (yes, even for a grooming facility). I come back because it’s right outside of quiet waters and they have the best high-​powered dryers I’ve seen in a self– service dog wash.

Update:
I went today for my dog’s grooming. My groomer did an excellent job as always but other people who works there never say hello or greet me when I enter the shop. Not very friendly. I wouldn’t go here if my groomer weren’t here.

Just took my dog here for the first time. I have to say after 8 years of different groomers, across 5 different states, it is the best haircut she has ever had! The staff is friendly and helpful, the shop clean, and they seem good with the animals as well. I have definitely found our new groomer!

Took my two dogs (Maltese and Shih-​tzu poodle mix) to get groomed and they took great care of us! Super friendly and the groomer did a great job. The dogs look great and came home happy. We will be back!

I’ve tried a number of different pet salons in Annapolis. Almost all have been a disappointment. Bark n’ Bean really does a great job. My dog comes out smelling better than any other places we have tried in the past. The only issue I have is picking her up within the two hour window but it’s worth that inconvenience. Highly recommend giving them a try.

I LOVEEEE Bark and Bean! We have been taking my two dogs here for almost two years now and I have never been disappointed.
Stephanie is a great groomer and does a great job with my pomeranian who has some serious separation anxiety. They even make an effort to remember your dogs by name.
Also, if you sign up to their emails, they have great wash package deals a few times a year. HIGHLY recommend!

The service at bark n bean was excellent and my Pom Pom was groomed to perfection !! One thing I will say is that the website said all dogs would be played with until pickup and not be caged. However this was not true as our dog was crated. Not a negative, but a slight misguidance.

I LOVE Bark N Bean! When I moved to Baltimore I needed to find a groomer for my rescue pup who has a lot of social anxiety. The poor thing was abused by his previous owner and has many triggers that cause him to get upset.
I explained all of this at his first appointment and was amazed when they scooped him up and took him back without a problem. I was invited to enjoy a cup of coffee while I waited (hence the «Bean» part of the name) but was running a few errands around Annapolis since I don’t visit often.
When I came back to pick him up he was happy as a clam and looked great with his new puppy cut! According to the groomers he was well behaved and calm the entire time. I honestly think they were calm, patient, gentle and loving with him and he could sense that there was nothing to be scared about.
I take him back every couple of months for his new cut and have never had an issue with their service.

Amazing shop! Staff was so friendly and attentive to both my dog and me. The bath and dry out were fantastic. I would highly recommend this establishment to all. Excellent experience!

I used to love this place when I first started going here. My dog was groomed in two hours or less and not stressed out when I got him back. Now, it takes forever to get an appointment that fits my schedule, they take at least 4 hours (even though their reservation system still says two hours) and my dog seems stressed and fearful. The final straw today was when they called this morning and cancelled my appointment two hours before. I won’t be back.

Love the online reservations and first time coupons!
I have a Maltese and he is a grooming nightmare. So I need a good groomer that can handle him.
The online reservation was key. Because only at add hours do I have time to sit down with my calenders to figure when is a good time for me to book the grooming appointment. I have taken my dog to Leah’s Dog Salon which is right around the corner, and I love her! But it is hard for me to schedule with her during normal working hours.
This place makes it easy for me to schedule when it is convenient to me. They are also cheaper than Leah’s and they do just as good as a job.
I was disappointed that the coffee house was closed! I guess you have to get there early in the morning to get coffee with them. I had a later appointment.

My wife and I were very pleased with the service and attention our new puppy «Hercules» received when we brought him in to get his nails trimmed. You can really tell that the ownership and staff care about their customers and absolutely love animals! They were so gentle and careful while trimming the nails. We were very impressed!
Bark N’ Bean has earned a customer for life.

My second visit (with Melissa) to this establishment wasn’t nearly as positive as the first. I requested that my dogs be trimmed — face, tail, sanitary areas, nails and for my boy dog to have a mohawk. Not only do they only appear to have been bathed (maybe) and had their nails cut, he doesn’t have a mohawk, he has been limping since we got home yesterday afternoon, and their faces look exactly the same.
We left for a road trip immediately after I picked them up so I was unable to go back to the shop and complain but it seems that the first visit is the only good one. I am beyond disappointed especially since I could’ve done their nails and baths and saved myself $ 80! And as an addition of insult to injury my boy dog is avoiding use of his front right paw/​leg which was most certainly not an issue before we arrived.
I will not returning to bark n bean.

My dog means the world to me and she has sensitive skin, so I usually take on brushing and bathing her. Recently, that was not occurring as much as it should, so I brought her to the Bark N Bean. Clover was treated like royalty and by the end of her little spa appointment, she had made new friends. The grooming area is glassed in, so you can watch everything as it happens. Each groomer makes sure to bond with the dog they are taking care of, and that’s not something you can take for granted.
The staff is very interactive with dogs and their humans — and the coffee bar is an added plus. There’s also a store with eco-​friendly toys, bags, and shirts. They also take pictures of dogs getting groomed and post them on their Facebook page. Clover got a whole collage, she was very proud.

This place is great! The staff is always a joy to work with — they are gentle and do a thorough job. You can tell they are true dog-​lovers.
They will do a full service wash (wash and blow dry, brush out, eyes and ears cleaned) or a quick serve (everything but blow-​dry) or you can do it yourself using all of their supplies.
Also, the coffee drinks are ****awesome****. My favorite is the mocha-​white chocolate frappé, but the hot chocolate and chocolate chai are good too.

My boyfriend and I (as well as my family) have been coming to BNB for years! The staff is super friendly, and just like us, are major dog-​lovers. We love to bring our two dogs in to wash them ourselves. They provide everything you need to pamper your furry babies including shampoos, brushes, towels, dryers, and even after-​bath-​sprays.
They even have a coffee bar next-​door, which has amazing coffee. It’s perfect to sip on while waiting for an appointment. It’s a perfect place to bring the whole family, whether you decide to wash yourself or have the staff do it for you.
If you have never been, this place is definitely worth a visit! Perfect location — awesome place!

Best doggie bath place ever! They’ve always been so nice to my black lab who is a pain about getting his nails clipped! The owners are true dog lovers and the employees are all super friendly!
I would recommend on Saturdays… to call ahead and see what the wait time is. There have been times I have waited for 2 hours in there but seriously they are so affordable and do such a great job that it’s worth the wait!

This place is pretty awesome. They are near Quiet Waters Park, so I can take my dog after he played in the mud or was excessively drooled on.
I always elect for the do-​it-​yourself wash, which allows me to lather up my happy, little mutt. They have tearless and hypoallergenic shampoos as well as everything you’ll need to get your dog clean. It only costs $ 15 for my dog who weighs in at 40lbs. (they charge by weight). If your dog isn’t a fan of getting a bath, they have free treats to entice him/​her to the wash bay.
I can’t speak about the other items they have for sale because I go for the discount stuff at other places.

I am a new dog owner and have never personally washed a dog before, so I was quite nervous about my first dog washing experience. The staff was very helpful with explaining everything and $ 18 to wash my dog with towels, shampoo, conditioner, dryer, apron, etc. included was a great deal. I’ll definitely be back so I can become a pro and save some money rather than taking him to Pet Smart all the time :)
My only gripes were their merchandise wasn’t too great… I would have loved to buy my dog a treat or new collar/​leash set, but I guess it was better to save money!

What an awesome place! This is dog lovers heaven. They feature a number of choices from full service grooming including nails and teeth cleaning to «do it yourself» wash stations. As the proud parents of a brand new baby girl who was rescued from a shelter we were delighted with the friendliness of the staff and the overall convenience of the service. Not to mention that our girl smelled bad.
The team went right to work making her (and us) feel comfortable. The double shot of Espresso from the coffee bar didn’t hurt either. They also feature a number of items for sale… everything from books to toys. If you have a dog this is a wonderful place to spend an hour on a Sunday morning.
