Bed Bath & Beyond

It is all bed bath and beyondified, just like every other one you went to. There it is, pillows and cookware and what not. Three stars is A-​OK is what this is.

The absolute best — as far as layout and items for purchase. I love that they sell household /​personal care items! I love all things cute & mini. I love that they carry just about everything in travel-​size! I love that you can use multiple expired BBB coupons in a single transaction! They are the greatest.

Nice BB&B store. Average selection but well laid out and nice location in the Towne Center. They are upstairs which could be a pain for some — but you can park on that level of the garage.
The manager seems to have been there for years and is very attentive, available and helpful. I couldn’t count the amount of times she has helped me find things or return items.
Very generous return policy.
One thing that frosts me about BB&B is their rebate process. They seem to have their own company doing the rebates (not the manufacturer). We bought a Sonicare Diamond for $ 220 with the promise of a $ 30 rebate. I sent it in with the original UPC code and months go by — nothing — then I finally follow-​up on the website and they told me it was the wrong product for the rebate. That was NOT CORRECT! They still offer the rebate today — months later — but I cannot even appeal that because they have my original UPC! So at least send me back my paperwork if it’s incorrect. I can’t even return the item since I cut the UPC off the box. Kind of confusing and not this store location’s fault, but just relaying in case any Bed Bath & Beyond execs are reading this. :)

Who doesn’t like BB&B? They are all practically the same, but loaded with great household goodies. I always like the question they ask while you’re checking out, «Did you find everything that you were looking for?» My standard answer is «Yes, but found a lot that I wasn’t looking for too.» Located in The Annapolis Towne Center, it will be wise of you to park in the 3^rd deck of the garage across this store. That way you can walk straight in the store.

Every time I go in that store I wait in long lines. The personnel may be friendly but often are jut standing there watching the lines form. They seem disorganized and confused half the time.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? I’m a fan… the store is in a great location, with a good sized garage with FREE parking right across the street and a covered walkway to get there safe and dry even in the middle of a storm. They have a good selection, well planned layout, and decent prices. The staff are USUALLY friendly, although I’ve run into one or two who didn’t really seem to want to be there. I especially like their seasonal décor… lots of fun whimsical stuff. Right now, they have some really cute electric fans designed to look like crabs and other aquatic creatures… if nothing else, good conversation pieces!
If you happen to forget your coupon that ALWAYS comes in the mail, the staff will usually pull one out of the drawer and give you the discount anyway… they say they’re not supposed to do it, but I’ve had enough of them do it that I’m pretty sure it’s a regular practice. But if they don’t and you find your coupon later, bring it back in with your receipt and they’ll refund the difference! It may not be a big deal if you’re only buying a $ 20 item, but if you’re spending a couple hundred, it may be worth the trip back.

Fans, go here. Simple Human garbage cans — they make cheaper plastic ones now that function great and don’t cost an arm and a leg. Why buy cheap dorky ones from Target or Walmart or any other place? These are way better. (actually might be cheaper at K&T True Value in Edgewater).
The other stores were out of good fans during the sweltering heat that hit us this week but Bed Bath & Beyond had us covered.

I give kudos for the well planned and displayed lay-​out, but for the life of me, I don’t get the draw to this place in terms of prices. I know they put out a massive amount of coupons weekly for nominal discounts, but even with this savings, I find the merchandise way overpriced.
I went the other day and was disappointed with their selection of duvets. Came back home and found Nautica comforter covers on line at a discounter for more than 65% off. Granted BB&B are well stocked and usually have a wide selection, but I’d rather take a gamble and head to HomeGoods in Crofton or to my keyboard at home.

Wow! Clean organized and a great selection. This location makes the one in Columbia, MD look like a dump. We popped in on our way to dessert and found some great music themed art for our Rockstar nursery theme. I could have spent hours in there looking at all of the fun gadgets, frames, etc. I’ll be back soon! Very soon!

Overall, I enjoy this location. Can be a bit overwhelming for a new patron in regards to the layout. I walked the store three times looking for a product only to find it moved to a TOTALLY different section of the store. I do like the new health and beauty section. The BEST Kuerig brand K-​cups selection in town. Check it out — friendly staff a plus.

This is a particularly nice Bed Bath & Beyond, located in the new Annapolis Towne Center at Parole.* This store carries a full selection of health & beauty aids in addition to all usual stuff you find at BB&B. There is ample parking in an attached garage.
The staff working at the wedding registry desk here is fantastic. They are incredibly helpful, friendly, and really know what they are doing. Ask for Mike or Sherri — they are the best!
We went here the other week to close out our wedding registry, and I made the mistake of getting a cart. Have you ever tried to use a cart in one of these stores? Impossible — the aisles are packed with stuff.
